While we appreciate you noting that porous dishes can be a part of this problem, a bigger concern is that there’s a possibility the soap isn't getting completely rinsed off. Check that your machine's not having water supply or pressure problems. Also, to ensure the temperature is good to go, run your kitchen sink for a couple of minutes before starting the dishwasher.
