The perfume! I had to throw away all of these pods, after the strong fragrance imbued my water bottles and silicon bakeware. I baked breadsticks on a silicon liner that had been washed with these pods, and they were inedible from the fragrance that transferred to the food. Gross.

It sounds like your dishwasher may have an issue getting sufficient water to rinse your dishes, Cat. Check the water supply by placing a cup on the top rack of the machine, and run a full cycle. Bought this product thinking it would tackle the tea stains on my Corning tea pots. Not so. The inside of my pots got browner & browner. All other items came up just fine. Have had to switch products completely

I never had an issue with the cascade brand. It does a great job. This last purchase, however, was not great. The platinum version leaves an off-putting taste that gets into your food and drinks when using “clean” dishware. And it leaves a cheap perfume smell too- Hard pass on platinum-

I was pleased with the superior cleaning power of Cascade Platinum ActionPacs™ + Oxi. However, as I found that the "Fresh Scent" lingering on service and cookware was objectionable to the palate, I was obliged to discard the rest of my first package of the product. I am very disappointed that the product is not available in either a "Lemon Scent" or an unscented variety. Unless and until a "Lemon Scent" or an unscented variety is available, I cannot use Cascade Platinum ActionPacs™ + Oxi and will have to settle for the relatively inferior performance of Platinum ActionPacs™ - Lemon Scent product.

This product ought to come with a warning, it corrodes glass. One pass through the dishwasher with one of these new pacs and my blue drinking glasses are ruined. I'm done with Cascade.

These don’t break down well in the dishwasher. We had to run the washer three times just to get the stuck soapy residue off. I would recommend the liquid over these.

I love how Cascade Platinum does its work. Only thing is that it is fading the design on my Arcopal dishes. I have top of the line GE dishwasher that is 3 years old. Water temp is good....water is not hard.... Am I doing something wrong? What do you recommend?

I bought this a month or so ago because the original cascade liquid I was using on my new KitchenAide dishwasher was leaving a stain on the dishwasher's stainless steel floor. I started using this and that stain disappeared HOWEVER, these "ActionPacs" + OXI are now ruining any items that are aluminum. What gives? I hope someone from Cascade will respond to this.
