I am on my second tub of Cascade Platinum and I am not happy at all about the pods sticking in the dispenser with a portion of the soap or the fact that several of my dishes are left greasy or unclean. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I will try a different type of Cascade next time.

I run my dishwasher daily, and primarily use Cascade tabs. However, this particular Cascade tab creates a large amount of soap suds, which triggers the shutdown mode on my dishwasher. I basically have to drain it and restart, which is wasteful and time consuming.

We're so sad to learn about your experience, as our automatic dishwasher detergents are formulated to not suds up too much if used according to the instructions on the package. It's possible you missed rinsing off any dish you previously washed using hand dish soap, as excess soap can cause this problem. This product will not dissolve in my dishwasher. I have to wash them at least twice to get the grit off of dishes and door. Totally not satisfied with your product. By the way, my dishwasher is only 2 year old.

In my new container of platinum pods I continuously get the liquid on my hands when I remove one. I have found two that have leaked either the blue or green liquid over the lower pods. While trying to clean the other pods numerous of them are “stuck” together rendering them unusable. I have used your other pods in the past and did not have this issue.

Since the Action Pacs are formulated to start dissolving as soon as they come in contact with water, it sounds like they may have been exposed to moisture or humid conditions. This could have happened in shipping, handling, or in storage. We want to share some tips for the best results when using Cascade Action Pacs: * If two Cascade Action Pacs are stuck together, do not try to pull them apart as they may split or tear open. * Do not use multiple pacs in one load. * Keep the Action Pacs package tightly closed between uses. * Store Cascade Action Pacs in a dry area with low humidity at room temperature. Under the sink may be handy, but it's often too warm and too humid if near the dishwasher. * Be sure your hands are completely dry when handling the pacs and the package. I have been using Cascade Platinum for about 6 months and recently noticed the design is significantly fading on my dishwasher safe Villeroy & Bosh and Spode dinnerwares. I have had both sets of dinnerware for over 5 years and never had any fading issues. This has clearly started with your Platinum product. Remaining pods are going in the trash where they belong.

I bought this container of Cascade Platinum and have several times how had to use the cancel and drain option to get the soap out of the washer. I then had to run the dishwasher through a rinse only cycle to remove the rest of the soap suds. I will say I have always used this brand in my Maytag dishwasher and until now it has been great. The bar code on the container is 370007489. There is also another number on teh container 11171731211811.

These are just OK. I have never gotten a clean load of dishes from these, the Platinum Plus are the best, these usually leave me a few stragglers that need ran a 2nd time. spend a couple extra bucks and get Platinum plus so you don't need to rehash anything.

I spent a lot of $$ and bought a large pack of these. After the first pod I open my dishawahs3r to find the pod still sitting half melted in the dispenser. I checked to make sure there was nothing blocking it. It was open but the pod was smoothed hardly even opened in the spot. I tossed it, and checked a few other things and tried a second time. This time It seemed to have melted more (all down the door but still not dissolved). U then decided to try with another brand. It disolved as it should and cleaned my dishes. I decided to give the Cascade a 3rd try... this time was like the first where it was still in the pod spot, opened, but just mushy in that. I am not sure what else to do Other pod brand worked just fine but I'm 0 for 3 with these Cascade Platinum and I'm really upset as they aren't cheap and now I have 59 pods left and not sure what to do. Also frustrating because finding a P&G contact is like finding gold apparently. :-(

Brittany, we're very sorry this is happening to you. Our ActionPacs™ are designed to completely dissolve in water, but when this happens it can be caused by any of these reasons: 1) The water in the dishwasher isn't hot enough. It must be at least 120F or 49C. 2) The water pressure may be too low. Make sure not to run the washer, or shower, or water lawn while running the dishwasher. 3) if the ActionPac™ sticks to the cup it won't dissolve. To avoid this make sure your hands and the dispenser cup are completely dry. And 4) finally, make sure the dishwasher sprayer arms are clean and can move easily and the dispenser cup isn't blocked. Anything can block the dispenser from something large to a small utensil. We're here for you. Give us a call at 800-765-5516, so we can help you further.

I decided to try this Cascade because it was described as a great product. Not so! Half the time the pods don't dissolve and my dishes are spotted all of the time. If you are wondering, I do have my rinse agent compartment filled and I didn't have this spotting until I changed to this product. It is by far the worst dishwasher detergent I have ever used. I will be changing back to a product that doesn't require me to rinse the cloudy spots off my dishes and dry them every time. Who has time to do dishes twice?
