Got this for my 13-year/old son who has a piano & takes lessons. This is just fun past time for him. The only minor suggestion I have for the manufacturer is that we have to pick up a headphone jack---the one it comes with is for later head sets than what most of us use now. My son enjoys playing with the different sounds and lighted keys. He is even composing on it.

Good looking, sounding, working starter keyboard with lots of features. Mine included a keyboard stand which was nice for the price. Stand will probably not last a long time but once again it was included in the package which made it easier for setup and placement. Casio makes great keyboards for the consumer with very nice sounds and features. The lighted keys are great for learning. The keys have a nice feel. It has a sampler which is really cool. A music book stand. Software (not used yet). A great assortment of sounds (instruments). Over all a very good buy.

This is not a review of the item, but of Target. I ordered this for my daughter's "big" Christmas gift. It was delivered in the manufacturer's box. There was a picture on the front, one on the side and another on the back (just in case she hadn't already seen it). I sat on the porch and cried I was so disappointed. Why would Target (or any decent, customer minded retailer) not ship in brown boxes during the month of December? Everything else I have ordered has been delivered in a plain brown box. I will NEVER order anything from Target again. Extremely poor customer service. Thanks Target for ruining my Christmas morning surprise!

I got this for my 7 year old who is learning piano. He likes it and this comes with the stand which is sturdy. The lighted keys are an extra plus. Its too early to comment on durability since we just got it. No complaints so far....good product

The keys that light up as the notes are played are useful if you are tying to memorize one of the songs stored in the memory of the keyboard and play from memory. However, if you are trying to play from sheet music, the keys that light up have limited value. Overall - good buy for beginners.

This is a horrible product. You cannot hear the keys when played, it sounds like it is a toy keyboard made for toddlers. Some of the keys are so faint, even on highest volume. Save your money and do not purchase. I would have rated 0 Zero stars but wouldn't let complete this review without checking something. So disappointed.

I bought two of these for Christmas - for a 7 and 9 year old. They both love it, not too basic or too complicated. The teaching/play options and lighted keys help them to find a comfortable learning zone. The stand is simple but sturdy. So far, so good.

Battery(AA) and ac power so you can set it up however you need. My son immediately went to town on this and has especially loved the sampling feature that lets you record a sound or short sentence to use as the piano tone. He loves recording things like "bananas " and then hearing it played back at all the different pitches. Mom and I love the headphone jack. Do be aware that you need a stereo adapter as the headphone jack is not 3.5mm as most cheap headphones are. It's a larger headphone plug that your pair would fit into the back of. I had collected about 4 of the things over the years of buying headphones and other equipment. Only downside is that because it has so many features, the buttons all do 3 things and that makes decoding the labeling really confusing.
