about this item

Abraham Shalom Yahuda (1877-1951) assembled a collection of manuscripts from private scholars and libraries of old patrician or scholarly families and other sources in Cairo, Damascus, Aleppo, Baghdad, Tunis, Fez, and other ancient towns, and bequeathed it to the National Library of Israel. Wust spearheaded the cataloging project, and the results have already been integrated into the online catalogue of the Library, and here is presented in print in the tradition of international scholarly publishing. The entries are in Arabic and the notes are in English. Annotation ©2017 Ringgold, Inc., Portland, OR (protoview.com)
