I played this game with 2 children (6 and 4). The 6 year old quickly picked up the strategy and was able to plan for what to do next on upcoming turns. The 4 year old was able to grasp the concepts, but needed more coaching for an understanding of the game play (I feel that after a few attempts at...see moreof the reviewer's review

The game is awesome. Kids ask to play it all the time. Playing with teens and a 6 year old- the 6 year old keeps winning. Price at Target for this game was good. Shipping was quite poor, the game was placed in a much larger box with no extra packing material so the game box arrived damaged. I had bo...see moreof the reviewer's review

My husband and I love strategy games like Catan and Carcassone, but our kids are 10 and 7, so the 10 year old could play but unlikely to win unless we let him, and the 7 year old is out. This game is PERFECT. It has enough strategy to keep us interested, enough challenge to keep the 10 year old busy...see moreof the reviewer's review

It took a few times for him to catch on to the strategy of the game and the best ways to win, but only because he was having so much fun actually playi...see moreof the reviewer's review

Grandkids love this game. Whole family can play. My grandkids 7 and up can play on their own. Has a pirate theme and players need to use strategies to gain properties. Great game for young minds!

When we first got into gaming I got Pandemic and Betrayal at House on the Hill ( & a few other's ) for Christmas and our kids watched us playing and of course they wanted to play to (not old enough yet) so I started looking for a game that was their age but was close to a older version....enter Cata...see moreof the reviewer's review
