The optical system is excellent, high quality primary and secondary mirrors. Low price. Only problem is that my Celestron 114 Powerseeker was not properly collimated. But if you are willing to spend some time collimating [aligning the primary and secondary mirrors] You will see extremely sharp and b...see moreof the reviewer's review

This is a great value but is much larger than I expected. You will need a designated area in your home to set up and leave. I wish they would had a age limitation on the product. I bought this for my 11 year old grandson and I believe it is too much for ages 13 and under.see moreof the reviewer's review

This telescope, while not needing tools, was very time consuming to set up. My son is 13 and it took him a good two hours to set only to find out some screws were stripped out and he was unable to steady the telescope. It kept falling forward and we've yet to figure out how to fix it. It is sittin...see moreof the reviewer's review
