My go to facial wash is Olay Gentle Foaming face wash but , I wanted to try something different and this one had great reviews . Unfortunately for me , it wasn’t so great. It felt like it didn’t clean my face and not just make-up wise . Like i had to use it twice in the shower for my face to feel clean, even the days I didn’t have a make -up on. My skin also didn’t feel as hydrated too. I did use this product for a few weeks Bc I hate wasting products and I wanted to give it chance . But it just wasn’t for me .

This face wash is okay. Does the job, I guess. I used it for years just to have decent skin with occasional dryness and pimples. Then I completely stopped using face wash and started lightly washing my face with water and I haven’t had a blemish in months. STOP PUTTING CHEMICALS ALL OVER YOUR SENSITIVE SKIN. welcome to my ted talk

If you have oily skin, don’t purchase this product! It leaves your skin feeling greasy and doesn’t remove the oil from your skin and after using it daily I got pimples!

This is one of my favorite cleanser. It is very gentle and hydrating. I use it both at night and in the morning. I even use it after my laser treatment, and it didn’t irritate my skin.

I bought this after a Google search in desperation to find something to clear up the breakouts on my chin. It consistently came up on ‘best cleansers’ lists. I wasn’t sure how I’d like the gel consistency; I typically like foam cleansers. Let me tell you, after switching to Cerave, this cleanser started to clear up my chin within days. This is definitely the best cleanser I have ever owned. I’ve tried multiple ones from drugstore brands to high end brands and this one takes the cake. It cleans and leaves my face feeling smooth with no residue. It also removes any stubborn makeup that my micellar water can’t get. It’s always my go to and I highly recommend it

I have combination skin & I break out here and there. I use products to dry up any breakups and this helps not to irritate or dry out my skin. I use it everyday and have seen a huge difference. Not harsh on the skin and doesn’t make my skin more oily

Excellent formula that is my GO TO on my face wash/routine for years now after trial and error with a variety of "sensitive" or "good" other brands and face wash types. Keeps my face hydrated but clean. The bar works just as well, and I highly suggest anyone interested in a cheaper version, travel friendly version, wider use option version, or environmentally aware version, try that one! :) This dries me out less than basic Cetaphil, and manages my persistent (but not invasive) acne well alongside spot treatment with other anti-acne ingredients. If this ever stops being made... I don't know what I'll do. For my combination skin (rare, few acne spots on cheeks, a few more spots on forehead, but problematic nose and chin), this works a little better than the foaming facial cleanser for me, simply because it doesn't dry me out on my cheeks. If you're more oily than me all over rather than just in the T zone, you may prefer the acne-focused version.
