Description
This gentle cream-to-lather formula deep cleans to clear and soothe breakouts in acne-prone, sensitive skin without drying. Balanced formula is specially formulated with 2% acne treating Salicylic Acid plus soothing aloe and white tea extract to nourish skin.

This stuff is the BEST! I was struggling with a pesky pimple that would not go away regardless of how much SA, tea tree, warm compresses, etc. I used on it. I picked this up because I have overall sensitive skin and cannot use many “acne” specific cleansers. This stuff cleared up my pimple so quick!!!! And since, I have not had any major breakouts (keep in mind- I do have fairly good skin. I don’t get lots of acne- just around my chin and occasional small bumps). However, my fiancé has oily, acne prone skin and this stuff works well for him- just need to get him on a twice a day basis and I think it will work much better. I’m terms of the smell, people are so dramatic lol if anything, it smells like water color paint (you know, when you dip the brush into the water to clean it). It’s really not that big of a deal and doesn’t linger. BUY THIS!

I was looking for a very gentle way to introduce salicylic acid into my skin care routine and this wash off cleanser is it! I love how it contains a very minimalist ingredient list and the cleanser feels super hydrating on my skin. It does not have any drying effects and it really helps smooth your skin instantly. I cannot give feedback yet on its effects on acne (have only been using 1 week) but so far, no adverse reactions or irritation which is always a concern for my super sensitive, acne prone combination skin. I am really enjoying this product- I just wish it was a tad easer to lather up.

Whether it works or not I dont care lol because this cleanser smells like dirty motor oil. Some unscented products have a slight weird smell because they are unscented but this was unusable. Had to throw it away. Nothing like any unscented product I have ever used. It's like I'm at a steel mill if anyone knows what those smell like.

I don’t get much acne, just a few small breakouts here and there. I needed something for acne maintenance on my face. This product seems to do the job. I use it 4-5x/week alongside another Cetaphil cleanser. Not sure how it works for moderate or severe acne, but if you have a little it definitely helps. It doesn’t dry out my very dry skin, either. Also, it’s a cream to foam cleanser so the texture is weird at first.

I have never been a fan of Cetaphil's standard line of cleansers, but I'm impressed by this newer addition to their lineup. It's a nice morning cleanser and hasn't given me any irritation even when I have to wear a face mask for 8+ hours for the rest of the day. I am knocking off one star for the texture. I would describe it as "stiff" coming out of the tube; it resists spreading at first. Going in with wet hands, lathering it a bit between my palms, and applying to an already-wet face solves that in my experience, but it may be offputting for some. Also, this is fragrance-free with very low amounts of plant extracts - the smell is raw ingredients, a bit plasticky in nature. Doesn't bother me and isn't impacting my score, but that's been showing up in a lot of reviews and it's worth mentioning.

I'm really happy I purchased this item! I have acne prone skin, and I was hoping this could help. It helps really good, and so far I don't have much acne at all now! This is great to moisturize my face on certain areas!
