Description
The Char-Broil Portable Gas Grill is designed for on-the-go, anywhere grilling. It features 190 square inches of cooking space and durable porcelain coated grates that are rust-resistant and easy-to-clean. This grill has great portability with legs that fold over the top of the grill to lock the lid in place and heat-resistant handles for easy pickup-and-go. The porcelain-coated wire grates are easy to clean, and give you enough surface space to cook food for up to eight people.

I used these older-style grills for many years and loved them. I bought a new one that no longer uses rocks, but has a plate for which drippings smoke off terribly, and the gas regulator doesn't work. Char-Broil customer service was less than helpful. They said they were sending a new gas regulator, and after two-weeks they claimed they sent me an email asking for the receipt, but by the day after, they canceled my request. Not to mention my email was not provided for ads, but for the purpose of the relacement part. The only email I received June 16, was an ad from them.

bought less than a year ago. never been under sun or rain. maybe used 25 30 times. the other day heat distributer collapse also heat pipe where the flames coming split up. i understabd why warranty up to 90 days on these.

I have bought this exact grille previously. It is lightweight for carrying on a boat or traveling in the back of a car or truck. Most important, it cooks well. It is so handy to cook hot dogs and burgers at baseball and soccer tournaments. When it wears out from use, I will probably by the same model again.

I have and use regularly a full size Char-Broil grill. Propane is getting less available and more expensive. That's why I bought this little grill. No need to fire up the giant grill these days for one person. Especially with the way the country is in at the moment. Pros: small, lightweight and sturdy. Would also be great for camping. Cons: ALWAYS wear a mitt or glove when touching the lid handle - as hot as the lid itself. Using an infrared temp gun, I could see the heat isn't uniform across the grill itself. Didn't expect it to be but just know that when you cook on it. I gave it 4 stars just because of the handle heat. If you're like me and prudent with expensive propane (at least for now), this grill is for you. And it's $4.49 less than when I bought it a few days ago.
