About this item

Highlights

  • Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes
  • Made with natural ingredients and real wood
  • Quick, easy lighting
Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes make grilling fun and easy. Designed with Sure Fire Grooves, Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes have more edges for improved airflow and faster lighting which ensures long burning performance as compared to other nationally available charcoal brands. These coals for grilling heat quickly and are ready to cook on in about 15 minutes. That's 25% faster than other nationally available charcoal brands. Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes are made in the USA with 100% natural North American ingredients and real wood to deliver an authentic smoky flavor, the way BBQ should taste. Real charcoal flames. Real wood smoke. Real fire-grilled flavor. This 15.4lbs bag is the perfect sizing for tailgate grilling or backyard parties. Add Kingsford Original Charcoal Briquettes to your barbecue supplies and make all your cookouts delicious.

Usage Directions: Stack briquettes in a pyramid. Add lighter fluid following lighter fluid directions. Light charcoal. Leave grill uncovered. Flames will die out while the briquettes continue to burn and start to ash over. Spread briquettes in a single layer when covered in ash (in about 15 minutes). Begin cooking.

Caution Statements: Never use gasoline to light charcoal, do not add lighter fluid directly to burning or hot charcoal. Make sure ashes are cold before discarding. Never burn charcoal inside homes, vehicles, or tents (burning charcoal gives off carbon monoxide, which has no odor). Barbecue away from flammable items, overhangs, and trees. Store briquettes in a cool, dry place. Prop 65 warning: combustion (burning) of this product, like other cooking methods, produces carbon monoxide and other substances known by the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm

They aren't burning. the briquettes have white ash on them b...see moreof the reviewer's review

My family has used Kingsford charcoal all my life. These last few times my husband made us a barbecue, it had a really wierd flavor, not a good one. I thought it might be in the lighter fluid. So we bought one of those chimneys that lets you start a fire without it. The wierd taste is still there. I...see moreof the reviewer's review

I feel like the coals don't burn as long and they seem smaller. I cook with 4 kettles and after years of cooking I don't feel like these are a great value anymore. The twin packs used to last me a a few weeks but not anymore.see moreof the reviewer's review

You guys have gone overboard in the amount of fillers you are using. My ash bin is filling quicker than ever, and I need to add brickets more frequently. Too bad.see moreof the reviewer's review
