After reading some mixed reviews, I thought I would still give this rug a try. I bought it in the light brown color for my dining room and it stains so easily. It doesn’t get a lot of traffic, but after only a few months of owning it, it looks like it’s been heavily used for years. It could possibly be a nice layering rug.
We've had this for about 18 months and it's holding up very well. Soft underfoot, no smells and easy to vacuum. I purchased some smaller sizes as well as the 9'x12" and came back to look for more but they are no longer available. I highly recommend these rugs.
This rug was purchased two years ago for our fairly high traffic living room. By 18 months, the edges started to fray (see photo). While the rest of the rug still looks great, we have to replace it because it’s falling apart. Beautiful, but its life is limited.
I've had this rug for about nine months in my bedroom, and I love it! It isn't plush, but it is soft on the feet. It's easy to keep clean, and a nice neutral. I haven't had any problems with a big dog and two cats! I have th 9x12, and it's a shame it isn't for sale anymore. It's a great staple piece.
I bought the "Light Brown" 5'x7' & the matching runner (1'10"x7') in store today on clearance. I spent $60 on the pair! The rugs feel soft yet durable. We are a "no shoe" household of 3. Hopefully they will hold up, but I will not be heartbroken if we need to replace in a year or 2, as I like to change decor about that often. The "Light Brown" truly looks more like a sage green to me---it is very neutral & effortlessly tie everything decor-wise together. Would absolutely recommend & already have!
I was worried about purchasing this rug after reading some negative reviews. This rug is still new, but I am very happy with my purchase. The rug looks great and is soft to the touch. It isn't like traditional jute that is rough. My rug did not smell like anything and it unrolled very nicely. I did roll it up "backwards" to get some of the lumps out from being rolled up. That would be my only negative about this rug, it does hold some of the lumps from being rolled up. Other than that the rug is perfect. I've vacuumed it already and I did not get any snags like other reviewers mentioned. I also ordered the matching runner which I am happy with also. Both rugs do required a mat underneath so they don't shift. These rugs look great and really add a nice touch in my home.
