At first, this seemed like a nice, soft cotton blanket. I only buy 100% cotton blankets for breathability and comfort (live in Florida) so thought I would try this. I realized almost immediately after getting it out of the packaging that it snags REALLY A LOT! There were already a couple of tiny snags in the blanket when I got it. There's no way this would survive a week on my bed with 2 dogs. Back it went to the store.
We have these blankets on all our beds. They are high quality & breathable, unlike synthetic blankets. The only issue I've had is that the threads can get pulled if a pet scratches at them.
They shed a little with the first washing but I haven't noticed any big amounts of fuzz in my dryer filter.
I ordered this online. When it arrived, I was pleased with the feel of the fabric and it was very light-weight (great for late spring into summer). I was disappointed with the color though. I got the gray one and I was expecting it to be gray and white. The "white" is not white, it's like a off-white or almost beige color which I didn't like. It made the chevron pattern not really pop and the whole thing looked a bit drab when I put it on my bed. I will be returning this and looking for something brighter.
The blue color is more of a blueish grey. I liken it to a favorite pair of faded blue jeans. Lightweight and warm blanket of which I use a twin size as an oversized throw blanket in living room. I love it!
