A single chevron makes its way down the length of the Chevron Area Rug from Project 62™, beginning and ending with a short fringe. Black and white alternating stripes blend together from a distance, ensuring a cohesive look for whatever room this rug is placed in. The cotton/wool blend and handwoven style create a rich texture and natural palette that will complement any palette.1962 was a big year. Modernist design hit its peak and moved into homes across the country. And in Minnesota, Target was born - with the revolutionary idea to celebrate design for all. Project 62 embodies this legacy with a collection of modern pieces made for everyday living.Goodweave's goal is to combat child labor in the handwoven-goods industry, support adult artisans and provide education to thousands of at-risk children in India who might otherwise need to work. To become certified, manufacturers must meet strict standards and agree to random, independent inspections.
I found the quality better than most woven rugs, so I was pleasantly surprised. It's much softer than I expected because the threads are thick and plush. I've seen people comment on the shedding, and I realize that I haven't noticed this because I have a white dog. His fur and this rug work perfectly together. But I will say that zoomed in picture they show looks accurate. It's not a crisp white and black--the white threads show on the black threads. We put a cheap rug pad underneath because it slid around, but that was expected.
They look great and are high quality rugs. I haven’t noticed any more shedding than any other wool rugs I’ve owned. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about that, but that’s just normal wear and tear for a rug. If you step on them every day and use them, they’re going to get a bit dirty and shed. For the price, they are a great rug and I’m very happy with my purchase.
Wanted to love this but really disappointed! It looks beautiful but besides that everything else is a negative. First of all it sheds like crazy! Little white hairs all over your floor. Have to vacuum almost everyday. Have had it for only a couple weeks but it looks like I’ve had it for years, it is not wearing nicely. Some threads have pulled through. The fringe is very slippery if you have hardwood floors so you have to let the rug liner show through. Also if you have a coffee table and move it around the rug buckles. I got it on sale, but still very disappointed. Don’t buy this, don’t be fooled by the pictures!
