Takes forever to warm a bottle which is awful when your baby is sceaming!!! And if I time ahead and leave the bottle in it until it says it’s ready it is way to hot!!! I would never recomened this bottle warmer to anyone!
Really wanted this to work for us! It's so simple to use and clean, is reasonably priced, and gets good reviews on baby gear lab. However. We have now tried and returned two of these because they overheat the bottles. I stand over it and remove them as soon as it beeps and the milk was 117-120°F. Not okay to give our baby, and a pain to wait for it to cool again.
This warmer is so slow I still can't figure out if it's broken or not. As much as I try to anticipate ahead of time exactly when my baby will need/want a bottle, there are still times when I have to get a bottle out quick. I don't know any mother that would want to wait around 10 minutes for a bottle to be ready when their baby is crying for one. I almost never have the time to wait for this thing to heat up all the way. Yesterday I put a bottle in and was able to do all the dishes in the house, let the dog out, and make and eat my lunch before the timer went off for the bottle. The heat of the bottle was perfect but if my baby had been crying for a bottle during that whole time, she would have turned purple. I will be looking for a better bottle warmer.
Have used this twice and has produced milk that is way too hot. I put a drop on my wrist after "rewarming" with this product and winced because of the pain. I do not feel that it is safe at all and am reluctant to continue using in the future.
Takes very little counter space and is very easy to use. Never have to worry about the bottle getting too hot and works well for both breastmilk and formula without compromising any valuable nutrients. It is a bit slow, however, taking about 7-8 minutes to warm a bottle (which seems like an eternity if baby is crying!) But this is to be expected with the type of warming system that provides a safe, reliable temperature. Overall, I'm pleased with the value and performance.
Researched a variety of bottle warmers. I like that this has the option to warm food jars. It does fit our Avent bottles and takes up little counter space (we were setting bottles in a bowl of hot tap water before). It warms evenly and is very easy to use.
'17 Jan Baby Charlie Mae is enjoying the warmed milk; I have over-heated it once, and she let me know :-( I failed that father test :-( Overheating can happen by allowing it to stay in the warmer after the beeping. I thought it might function as a long-term warmer too, but not that sophisticated for $35. A fill-to line would be a nice improvement; otherwise, working well.
