The top-rated Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat is engineered with innovative features that make it the easiest infant car seat to install simply, accurately, and securely every time. The KeyFit 30's stay-in-car base (included) has a ReclineSure leveling foot and two RideRight bubble level-indicators to help achieve and verify proper angle in the vehicle seat. For alternate installation with the vehicle seat belt, clear belt routing and integrated lock-offs make it easy to position, tighten and lock the belt into place. A smooth underside helps protect vehicle seats from damage.

A:Â It does yes (although there are a couple of different Baby Trend Snap and Go Strollers now so just double check their website), but Chicco has a snap and go as well if you are buying one. If you already have a snap and go yes the Key Fit should fit.

A:Â I want to say I didn't try cause it's not safe for any car seat put on top of shopping carts. I always had mine in the basket.

As far as adjusting the height of the straps(where they go though the seat, at your baby's shoulder height) you will need to re-thred as baby grows. The base does have a spring loaded part, on the bottom rear side, that adjusts very easily to keep the base level in different cars. For example, in a car with very slanted seats you would let that part extend down further to counter the seat angle, or could flatten it back out if not needed. Kind of hard to explain...

A: The Chicco KeyFit, KeyFit 30, KeyFit 35 and Fit2 car seats and bases all have a 6 year life span. There is a “do not use after” date on every car seat (on the bottom) and base. Once the car seat and base have expired, please properly dispose of them.

My child was very uncomfortable in this car seat. She hates going in it and breathed funny everytime we put her inside of it . Seems like others have had this problem. With the amount of different travel systems I’d consider something else

LOVE this system! We used it for about 7 months before our son just got to be too heavy to carry around for our backs. Stroller steers easily, easy to install, love the easy click system, and more padding on the seat than a lot of others on the market. My husband said it was “worth every penny”. Only dislike is that the cover is a pain to take off, but really they all are. We used Graco for a long time but they have skimped on some things and seem more cheaply made than in times past

I don’t like this because My child hates and looks like very uncomfortable in it too. The stroller is hard to push around and it’s broke too.I wouldn’t recommend at all..I’m looking for to replace it..Don’t buy it…

Even a casual search of user reviews, laboratory independent testing and published expert comparisons will prove that your viewpoint is very uncommon. We hope you find a seat that your child does not hate and one in which they look comfortable. Your review mentions a stroller but it's not clear at all which stroller you are referencing.

Used this with our 3rd. It’s so much easier to install than the infant car seats I used with our first two. The easy installation was the big selling point for me. My only complaint is that to move the handle you have to push the buttons on both sides which is tricky to do with your hands full. I’ve been using it for 8 months with my daughter and it’s held up well. She was a big baby (close to 10 pounds at birth) and so I’m not sure how well it works with smaller newborns, but for us it has worked really well and is easy to adjust as she grows.

I'm a first time mom and got this at my baby shower. While the quality is really good, my daughter looks really uncomfortable in it (she's a peanut. 3 months now and about 11lbs). When I say uncomfortable I mean her head is slightly tilted forward and sometimes freaks me out because it looks like she can't breathe comfortably. I also wish this model had a one-Hand release for the carry handle.

What can you say about a carseat that does its job and keep your little one safe...a must buy. This is the second one I purchased as the first is no longer good as it was just in a car accident. Needless to say I didn't need to do any research again to see which I was going to buy. When I first bought this carseat, I did extensive research on the higher safety ratings car seat; this carseat was in the top ten as safest. And unfortunately I see why, as there is nothing scarier then being in an accident with your little babies. But I am happy and relieved that not a single hair was out of place on my LO's head, she was just scared from the impact. All our side airbags went off somewhat hitting her carseat as well as the pull down cupholders from the middle seat. I can't say how hard her seat was impacted with the airbags but honestly her car seat held up. My LO was alert and her normal self, as if nothing happened. If you are hesitant, I hope this review gives you the confidence to just buy it.

My husband loves this thing and he can be picky about this stuff. It was incredibly easy to install and removing it to use as a carrier is just as simple too. My baby is comfortable in it also. I was very hesitant to buy an infant car seat but I 100% recommend this one.
