I bought this as a gift for my grandson, age 12. I had it shipped to him, so did not have the fun of browsing it myself. He was very happy with it, and my son said it was a great book. My grandson had just seen the David Copperfield show, so I choosed this particular book because it contains the history of magic, and includes a few simple magic tricks for children to learn. So, educational and fun.

Book is very interesting for anybody interested in magic. Really not just for children. The book, though, has a big tear on binding. It is too late to return it and get another. :(
