Q: Is the box that plugs into tree suppose to come with the switch?

Q: we have had our switch for 1 month, it turns on the tree fine plays music, but now all of a sudden won't switch off at all. any way to fix this or get a new one??

Q: We have 2 separate strands of lights that cannot be plugged into each other. Can I plug in 2 plugs to one box?

A: It seems there is box that you plug into your outlet and then plug your tree into the box. The switch turns the box on from up to 50 ft away I think it states.
