I couldn’t get it to work. I think the material of cheap and the hoop doesn’t hold the fabric tight enough. The needle was permanently damaged the fabric so it’s hard to correct a mistake or redo a tea where the loops aren’t staying…disappointed because I was really excited to do this

I bought it together with another kit. I feel that both kits are very good. I recommend it.

I’m a complete beginner, but this pillow kit was super easy and fun! The instructions are clear, and everything comes in the box. It’s satisfying to see the design come to life, and now I’ve got a pillow I made myself. I’m proud of how it turned out!

I could not get this to work. I tried so many times I was afraid the fabric was going to break. I read and reread the directions. I looked up how-to videos online but the stitches would not stay in. They were popping out constantly. I’m still going to use the kit, I’m just going to use the embroidery needle and use traditional stitches instead of the punch tool. I did not receive the large needle threader that showed in the instructions, I received a long piece of thin metal wire.

One small note: while the picture on the package accurately represents the color scheme, the printed description on the package and the enclosed instructions describe the non-white ball of yarn as gray, but in my kit it's a very light cream. At the end of the day, this product definitely isn't for me. I thought it might be a fun way to learn something new, but I've already had a bit of trouble getting started, even with the included directions. I know a couple of friends who would LOVE to have this. I will also add that had the product descriptions read a little more clearly, I probably would not have requested this product. The snowflake design will be great if someone has full Christmas decor.
