A: no. Although Clairol suppressed the mal-odor, there is still ammonia in the formula. Ammonia is a very effective ingredient to help the hair color develop inside the hair and be long lasting. The ammonia is not more damaging to the hair than other permanent hair colors that do not use ammonia

I have never used this brand but saw it had a lot of good reviews so decided to try it and probably never will again. Mine box had a hole in the glove and I didn’t notice till I was done so my hand got stained pretty bad. Also I have been dying my hair for years box dye, Demi that you mix and permanent you mix yourself and never had any bottles that squirted this bad everywhere. I mean it got it done but prob won’t repurchase unless on sale. Normally buy garnier but only got this on sale

I did not start colouring my hair until I was 60. I wish I did it sooner. I use medium blond #8. It is easy to use and is a lot easier to do it than I thought. People tell me I look 10 years younger. My hair dresser said the color looks wonderful and professionally done. I was completely grey and now I am blond. It looks beautiful. I called clairol to ask for help and they assisted me with choosing the Colour. I love it.

In previous times, I have always liked using Clairol Nice ‘n Easy, usually with good grey coverage. However, I decided to try a new shade from them, SB2, Ultra Light Cool Summer Blonde. Not thinking it would be any different than others that I have tried. After the process, I noticed that my temple areas were not coloured, even though I worked them really well!! Upon looking over the box, at the very bottom at the back in the most tiniest print it reads…”Shade is not recommended for use on gray hair”!!! I personally think those words SHOULD BE on the FRONT of the box, so that people know that this shade won’t work on gray hair…like my temples!! I was disappointed with the results as it doesn’t even look like I dyed my hair!! Being that I’m a Senior, it was a waste of my money. 😢😢😢

I received this product complimentary from Clairol in exchange for my honest review. My hair color was red brown, but I was looking to tone the red down a bit. I was apprehensive if this color would have as much cover as I wanted. Personally,I prefer applying my color from a bowl & brush. I like to be sure that the strands are fully and evenly saturated. It was easy to mix ,however the consistency is a bit thin for brush application. I did get some on my clothes and immediately cleaned it off.No discoloration or stains were left behind thankfully. Just be mindful of your application if handling by brush & bowl instead of the bottle method.Being sensitive to scents and suffering with allergies I did not find this to be bothersome in any way. The scent is subtle and not overpowering. I followed the processing instructions and applied the conditioner after the coloring was finished. The Nice N Easy did not leave my hair, feeling dry or damaged afterward. I like that you are given extra conditioner to protect and keep your color fresh. I colored my hair on Dec 21, 2022 and five weeks later it is still looking good. A great match to my natural hair color.Hard for me to detect where my haircolor begins and where the Nice N Easy ends. The haircolor adds dimension, highlights and shine. I would certainly use this product again and happily recommend it. Thank you Clairol.
