This didn’t cover my gray roots. I left on for 35 minutes. Leave on time is 10 min but unfortunately it was just a waste of time and money. The packaging was good. I liked the little dish it came with but for stubborn grays, I’ll stick with L’Oréal Paris root touch up instead.

I had high hopes for this root cover-up hair dye, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. I followed the instructions carefully, but the product barely covered my grays (or roots). The color payoff was minimal, and even after letting it set as directed, my roots looked almost the same as before.

Did they change the formula? It also seems like they give you less now. I was barely about to cover my roots and the color wasn’t as strong, leaving me with really light hair in areas. I thought I’d try this again after using the full head coverage dye of a different brand, but it seems like something had changed. This is way too expensive for what they give you anyway. I’ll just stick to the fill head dye.
