A: As long as you don't mix them. Pour an equal amount of both into the mixing tray, and apply. Any mixed leftover should be tossed. Cap the unmixed tubes and use at a later date. I get multiple uses out of one box.

A: If you are looking to go back to the salon. I would recommend your salon know what products you used. The ingredient list might be helpful as well so that they have an idea of how the product will react with Clairol Root Touch up. The best store-bought to use when you know you will be returning to the salon soon after is a Demi-Permanent such as Clairol Natural instincts. This will wash out over time. Please note that a Demi- Perm will not cover your greys. If that is your intention I would recommend keeping the root touch up.
A: It might be hard to lighten after the hair has been treated. It could fade slightly over time.
