Q: the the length total length or between the putter two brackets? at full length for 120" how far apart are the brackets?

A: The rod is designed to expose 3 inches of rod outside of each bracket for aesthetics. If you install it this way, there is 120in between the two furthest outer most brackets. If you need more space, you can place the brackets closer to the ends of the rod, and have up to 126in between outer most brackets. Please note there is a center bracket also which should be placed roughly in the middle of the two outer most brackets. Thank you.

A: Kam: The 48"-84" and 84"-120" rod lengths both include a center support bracket. A center support bracket is not needed for the 28"-48" rod length, so it is not included. We hope this helps! Color of the inner rod is not the same as the outer rod! WHYYYYY. The hardware is also awful to install. Not impossible but anger inducing. You’ll need an extra Lonny but for your driver or drill.

Rocco - We are assuming the gap you're referring to is where your curtains appear closest to the center bracket of the rod. To reduce this gap, gather the curtain panels as closely as possible on each side of the center bracket so that they are butting up against it. Next, pull the bottoms section of the curtains close to each other This should help reduce the center gap between your panels. Please write us back to let us know it this helped. Thank you!

Like everyone else- I should have paid more attention to the hardware before buying. Everything about the installation is obnoxious. In addition to the rod holders being bulky and needing an extender to work around it, the clearance in the plate is extremely tight. My best advice is - once you measure and place your anchors, put the screws through the holes in the bracket. Then, match the screws up to where they should go in the wall, (holding the bracket away from the wall) alternate screwing in each side until the bracket is finally placed.

They are also in the least conspicuous location when viewed from a downward angle in the room. A standard length screw driver will work to access the screws. The bracket was carefully designed to offer a maximum balance of aesthetics, strength and ease-of-use.

First box arrived without hardware. Second box arrived with scratches all over the rod. Third box arrived with hardware and only minor scrapes on the rod so we just went with it. Now that’s it’s finally up it looks great and I’m happy with it! But two stars for the packaging problems and damages.

I have purchased quite a few curtains rods in the past and when you start extending them out they bow. I did not have that issue with these. They are very solid curtain rods. Also, my husband typically does not like brass colored anything, but these were a very modern color. They look nice!

Had I paid more attention to the photo of this product I could've avoided purchasing these curtain rods. I was very excited about the products sleek look that I failed to use logical thinking when reviewing the design & how it would be installed. First, why would anyone want the screws to be on the top portion of the bracket (can be seen)? Also, how did they get those screws in? I had a heck of a time trying to accomplish that while on my ladder. The rounded portion of the piece which holds the rod is obstructing my tools' (first an electric screw driver & then me...manually) ability to simply screw in the screws. So, I think making the bracket where the screws need to be placed should be longer & out of the round rod holders way. Just my opinion. After trying to get one up I eneded up deciding they weren't worth it. I returned them.
