I usually do not write reviews. But this prouduct is a holy grail for me. I haven’t broken out since I started using it. I have oily skin so I’m prone to breaking out. And I literally haven’t broken out once. It also cleared acne that I had prior to using this product.
Do not purchase this product if you have sensitive and/or dry skin. All toners sting a little, but this one burns. My face was red for a few minutes after applying, and the product has a very strong fragrance.
I'm in my fifties but have the skin of a teenager. I have tried so many products to clear my oil prone skin I've lost count. A few years ago I started using the Clean and Clear astringent and it's worked wonders. I'm so glad I found this product.
I've been using this product for years, since I was in my teens and I'm now 36 and it still works great for me. It cleans my face and gets all of the dirt and oil off and doesnt dry out my skin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Best astringent ever! I have acne prone skin and this helps keep it under control. I've tried everything out there when it comes to acne and this is one of my necessary everyday essentials to skincare. It will keep your skin clear! Better than all the other brands out there!
I bought this thinking that it would rid me of pimples and make my skin a little less oily. The first night I used it I had to pause in the process of applying it because of how badly it burnt my skin. I woke up the next morning with red skin and i had noticed my face begin to peel around my cheekbones but I shrugged it off as a side affect of my new face wash. Fast forward about a week and the product burns my skin so bad while applying, it’s not something your skin gets used to. But I was convinced it was working because ‘ if it burns, it’s working.’ Obviously not. My skin was irritated and I still just thought it was clearing up from the face wash incident, i tried to put makeup on and my face was burning so badly I had to immediately wash it off. I had red blotches across my skin and my cheeks, so bad that a few family members expressed concern ( so it wasn’t just a flushed type of red) I have an oily t-zone and a rather neutral rest of my face and I’m pretty sure that identifies as combination, not sensitive at all. So beware when using this product, it burnt my face and didn’t help me with acne at all.
