Q: Does anyone know if it affects accuracy if I unwrap a few of the sticks at a time ahead of time? (No time to wait if it's first pee of the day!)

A: Hi, It is important to unwrap the test stick only when you are ready to test as the test sticks should be used shortly after opening. We would not recommend to open up the test sticks ahead of time as they will be exposed to moisture in the air which may affect the test sticks. Regards, Sam.
submitted byCustomer Support - 4 years agoA: You should only open the foil wrapper of the test stick just before you want to test. If urgency is an issue first thing in the morning, try collecting a small sample of urine that you can then test at your leisure.

Q: Can I reuse the digital read after the peak detected for the next cycle?

A: Yes, Peak will be displayed for 48 hours, then you can reuse the Holder in the next cycle if you have test sticks remaining.
submitted byClearblue Support - 5 years agoA: Yes you can reuse the digital reader if you still have sticks remaining for the next cycle. Once you're all out of sticks though, I think you have to buy a new box, including the new digital reader.

A: You don't have to replace the cap - it won't affect the test either way but it is important not to remove the test stick from the Holder until the result is displayed. Sally. Clearblue Support.

Q: What level of LH has to be present in order to recieve a peak result? I know the new E.P.T. opks have to be a 30 to detect the LH surge, so im just curious about how much of the LH hormone you need for the Digital Blue tests to detect a positive.

I’ve been trying to track my ovulation for quite some time and I felt like I kept missing it. I decided to try these over the typical strips and I found that I in fact, was missing my ovulation. They are pricey in comparison but I’d rather be able to track my ovulation successfully. 10/10 recommendation.

These are a must for anyone trying to conceive. I ovulate early now after having my son, like 3 days after my cycle ends.. and literally first time I got the peak smiley face I we did the business and I ended up being pregnant! These are worth the money. Only took 1 month after buying these.

Pregnant after just few months! I have irregular cycles causing it to be hard to determine my peak time. These helped me pinpoint the exact days! If you have irregular cycles like myself, this is game changing!!! It even helped me explain to my doctor why my pregnancy wasn’t as progressed as they thought it should be because I ovulated so much later than normal women do! Highly recommend! Expensive, but works. The only thing is, you can reuse the digital part once you get a peak fertility smiley face. You’d have buy it again, even if you have 9 strips left over to track your next cycle… It works, but that’s the only bummer.

I do wish that the symbol for high fertility was different than the symbol for peak fertility, but the flashing smiley versus the constant smiley works well enough. I really liked that I can reuse the test unit for the next cycle if I didn't get pregnant this cycle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been TTC for 5 months and have tried a variety of tests. Initially I went with a large box of cheaper LH tests but was having a hard time finding my peak. I then tried using the Clearblue tests and, since I'm irregular, tested starting on day 12 and then every few days until day 18. Then every day until day 21 when I finally saw the happy face. The feeling of relief when I saw the happy face was worth the price of these tests. There is nothing more frustrating than testing every day with LH strips and never being sure when the peak is. But, these are very expensive and there is no way to buy more strips instead of having to purchase the whole set every time. The best solution for me is to use the cheaper LH strips and supplement with the Clearblue test once I think my peak is likely. Hope that helps and good luck!
