The ClearblueAdvanced Digital Ovulation Test (Prueba de Ovulacion Advanced Digital Clearblue) typically identifies 4 or more fertile days leading up to, and including the day of ovulation, at least twice as many as LH only ovulation tests.(2) The Clearblue Advanced Digital Ovulation Test is a breakthrough: it is the only ovulation test that not only detects the rise in luteinizing hormone (LH), but also monitors the level of another key fertility hormone, estrogen, which increases in the days before the LH surge. Your partner's sperm can survive in your body for up to 5 days, so you can actually become pregnant by having intercourse during the days leading up to ovulation. (1) Vs not using any method. (2) In a study of 87 women in the UK, 4 or more fertile days were identified in 80% of cycles using cycle length (2012). (3) Data on file. Q: Does anyone know if it affects accuracy if I unwrap a few of the sticks at a time ahead of time? (No time to wait if it's first pee of the day!)

A: Hi, It is important to unwrap the test stick only when you are ready to test as the test sticks should be used shortly after opening. We would not recommend to open up the test sticks ahead of time as they will be exposed to moisture in the air which may affect the test sticks. Regards, Sam. Clearblue Support.

submitted byCustomer Support - 3 years agoA: You should only open the foil wrapper of the test stick just before you want to test. If urgency is an issue first thing in the morning, try collecting a small sample of urine that you can then test at your leisure.

Q: Can I reuse the digital read after the peak detected for the next cycle?

A: Yes you can reuse the digital reader if you still have sticks remaining for the next cycle. Once you're all out of sticks though, I think you have to buy a new box, including the new digital reader.

Q: Does anyone know if you have to put the cap back on after testing while you wait for the results? I want to make sure I do it correctly!

A: You don't have to replace the cap - it won't affect the test either way but it is important not to remove the test stick from the Holder until the result is displayed. Sally. Clearblue Support.

Q: What level of LH has to be present in order to recieve a peak result? I know the new E.P.T. opks have to be a 30 to detect the LH surge, so im just curious about how much of the LH hormone you need for the Digital Blue tests to detect a positive.

Previously used Clearblue ovulation predictor kit with my first pregnancy, it worked great. However, nearly four years later, this testing unit was defective right out of the package. At test preparation Step 2 b, the screen displayed a book symbol. Per the key, the symbol means I, "cannot use this holder again". Frustrating since I haven't even taken a single test. Keeping my fingers crossed I can return the product to target.

These work amazingly. We got pregnant after our a first month of trying. I ovulate early about 6 days after the day of my period and I got the high fertility for two days and then peak fertility for one day. I can’t recommend these enough. We tried for two months prior and missed my ovulation window.

I used this to help me track my cycle when I was trying to conceive. I found the results to be very accurate and it is super easy to use. It isn’t cheap but it’s definitely worth it to track ovulation.

I do like that these tests gave me a longer fertile window then regular ovulation tests, but some months regular ovulation tests work just fine. For all that are TTC, I use these with Good Clean Love Fertility lube, Proov to confirm ovulation, and Smartypants prenatals. All are a great combo if you are TTC

I have tried using these tests for the last two months. Both months when using these I would go from showing no ovulation to peak, there has never been a "High" result. Just makes me a little suspicious of the accuracy.

Easy to use and worked. Trialed 3 different tests, all results were always the same showing good reliability of tests. I had no faulty tests, and if you have a dud insertion kit, you will know by the first step based on the way it blinks. I followed the instructions to a T including when I read results. I did not get this as a promotion, I paid the full cost. I could’ve used the cheaper version though since those were accurate!

This item is kind of worthless. Very particular. If you don’t do this in a very precise manner, or wait exact times, you don’t get any results. Just seems pretty convoluted and overly sensitive for what’s ultimately still peeing on a stick. I’ll find another option.

I use these as a tool for NFP and they have been so helpful to pinpoint ovulation better! Definitely expensive, but I like them much better than traditional ovulation tests.

I tried these tests since they tracked both estrogen and LH hormone. They worked for a few days but if you stop testing in between for a few days (e.g., late ovulation), the reader stops reading the test. You then waste the test strips, which are not cheap. I also got error messages when I thought I had done everything right. It was very inconsistent. I ended up using the easy@home strips and they were much more reliable and cheaper.

I would just use the pregmate strips. These gave me a false positive way too soon. Once it does that, it locks in the smiley face for two days. Because it uses the first reading as a baseline estrogen reading, you can’t use it again until your next cycle. I ended up having to buy the pregmate strips anyway because of that and got pregnant the first month using those.

Works perfectly. I have PCOS, I ovulate late, and I’m a busy mom who doesn’t have time to mess around with difficult products. I love these! I’ve used these 3x to get pregnant the first cycle with using these. I buy the ones with 20 strips because I have long cycles. Don’t give up if you don’t show smiley right away…it has taken me up to 10 days til I get it (PCOS!) and I’ve gotten pregnant each time with these.
