I bought this to keep my hair in place when outside on windy winter days and I chose a cloche style because I have an affinity for the 1920s/early 1930s. It's well-made and eye-catching. Be aware that it's meant to fit low on the head, so you will have the brim right at eyebrow level and you need a close-to-the head hairstyle like a low bun or braid. The brim can't be turned up because the seam binding around the edge will show and look funny. The color is the same as red table wine, a bright burgundy. It goes well with lots of coat colors.
