Description
*For home composting: Do not compost wipes if used to clean non compostable messes, such as human or animal waste. Wipes should generally be no more than 10% of total home compost pile. **When used as directed
Usage Directions: To open package: 1. Pull out wipe from center of roll. 2. Next sheet pops up automatically. 3. Close lid to retain moisture. Directions for Use: Do not use directly on food. Do not use for cleaning skin, for personal cleansing or as a diaper wipe. To Clean: Wipe surface clean with Clorox Compostable Cleaning Wipes. Let air dry. For highly soiled surfaces, clean excess dirt first. Clorox Compostable Cleaning Wipes will not harm most surfaces, including acrylic, fiberglass and vinyl. Not recommended for use on unpainted wood. No rinse required for food contact surfaces

Q: Can these be used on pet bowls instead of soap and water?

Q: Can wipes be used to clean inside of microwaves
A: Carrie, we recommend using our Free & Clear Compostable Cleaning Wipes to clean the outside of a microwave after cleaning the inside with lemon and water. These wipes aren't intended for use on the inside of a microwave, but they can be used to wipe down exterior surfaces, including the control panel. Q: Why does the front say 'Safe around kids and pets', while the back says 'Keep Away from kids and pets'...?

Q: Can I compost these myself in my home composter? Will they make the compost unsafe for vegetable garden?
A: What an awesome question, Cathy. We're glad to help. For home composting with our Clorox Compostable Wipes, don't compost wipes if they've been used to clean non-compostable messes, such as human or animal waste. Composting fruits, vegetables, and other organic matter provides nutrients for soil in gardens and farms and keeps waste out of landfills. To get started composting at home you may want to consider purchasing a rotating composter with two chambers. That way, you can have your old compost break down in one chamber and add new material to the other. In addition, check with your local municipality to see if they accept wipes that meet the requirements under ASTM D6400.
