  • A: Hi! We do use lakes in our ceramide lip blur balm. Lakes allow us to achieve colors with more depth and vibrancy that we are not able to achieve with iron oxides alone that are also used in the formula. We also tested every lip shade for heavy metals.

    Nothing like Summer Fridays if that's what you're thinking

    I bought based on reviews saying it’s a dupe for or even better than Summer Fridays since that’s my favorite lip balm. The only similarity between the two is the applicator, which is nice for a drugstore lip balm. I bought Be Real and the formula is much thicker and stickier than Summer Fridays. It also seems to be unscented/flavored but smells and tastes plastic-y to me and dried out my lips.

    No fragrance for the migraine girlies!!

    Similar to summer Fridays, very smooth and shiny. Does dry fairly quickly but it is a balm so it’s acceptable. No fragrance in any of the shades so it is perfect for sensitive girls and those who can’t handle fragrances. This is what I’ve been looking for, for the longest. I hope the come out with an fragrance free lip oil and gloss as well
