Cocokind’s Vitamin C Glow Serum uses a stable form of vitamin c paired with azelaic acid to help brighten and reduce the look of dark spots over time, firm, and defend skin against environmental stressors. This hydrating formula has hyaluronic acid sea grape caviar to help plump skin’s surface and reinforce skin’s moisture barrier. On clean skin, gently massage 2-3 drops of serum into face and neck, in the AM and/or PM. Our vitamin C serum is suitable for daily use. Store your vitamin C serum in a dark, dry place. Q: is the container airtight? I know that with vitamin C serums and other vitamin C skincare products the vitamin C will go bad if the container isn't airtight.

A: The common vitamin C ingredient L-Ascorbic Acid is sensitive to oxidative stress (air/heat) and might require airtight packaging, but we do not use that ingredient in our Vit C formula. We use ascorbyl glucoside, which is a more stable form of vitamin C and does not require an airtight container or package to sustain its efficacy. We also do stability and compatibility testing with all of our formulas to confirm that products will last the entire shelf life of 2 years. The best way to protect your serum is to store it away from sunlight in a cool and dry area. Also, make sure to cap the product firmly after every application.

The new formula does not feel as good as the old formula. I used to feel instant gratification and moisturized skin. It is now a bit sticky and doesn’t make much difference.

I can’t believe this is getting good reviews actually. This product doesn’t sink into the skin at all, just stays atop and creates a sticky barrier. Forget putting anything over it, it pills and balls up and leaves your face looking crazy. Threw it away.

I recently added this to my skincare routine because I was searching for something to fade my acne marks on my face. I tried this once, and it started burning on my forehead chin and upper lip area immediately after application. This was the first item I put on after washing my face with water only. I let it sit awhile until the rest of my skin felt dry, then I continued with the Cocokind ceramide serum and my regular moisturizer and sunscreen- the burning INTENSIFIED. I thought to myself to just let it sit awhile, but after 5 mins it still burned so I decided to wash it all off. It still slightly stung throughout the day and left my skin feeling sensitive in the areas it burned, but now I have red, dry flakey patches where it burned which I did not have before. Not sure if it were user error, I bought this from ulta so I don't think it could've been tainted with. But I also have eczema and this is on the national approved eczema list. Sadly I don't think this is for me I wish it could've worked!

Very nice serum. Not sure why so many people complain that it's sticky - it's not sticky at all, it goes on really smoothly and layers nicely under my lotion. Smells like absolutely nothing - my favorite lol. It's very gentle and doesn't irritate my face or make me breakout. I've tried most of the cocokind products by now and am yet to find one that I hate! This brand is amazing. Formulas are gentle but effective.
