CoComelon Transforming Fire Truck

I bought for my grandson for his Christmas. I think he's going to get excited and will love it when he gets it.

Several features advertised that were selling points to us do not work in reality: 1) the truck top opens up but does not stand, constant drops shut on my kid’s hand which is a safety concern to me, 2) The slide is difficult to install, kid can’t do it themselves, 3) ladder does not click or attach anywhere, it’s just placed wherever so you have to hold it with one hand and play characters perhaps with another. Cheap not worth the price. Want to return!

This was not a well thought out toy design. The sounds are good and not annoying, but the ladder snaps in and out and will do so. The lid that opens to transform the top only remains open with the 2 piece pure slide and WILL snap shut down on its own if not supported immediately (which small children are not known for, so there are many snapped fingers in this house)

We just brought this home from the store. My kid loves it so we’re going to keep it, but honestly the price tag should be about $30 (not $60!) for how poorly constructed it is and how much it falls apart. In addition, we bought the least busted package, and it was ripped in at least three places.

My son loves this fire truck. He plays with it regularly. I don’t think I’d pay full price as it is expensive, but on sale definitely!

It haves acid in the batteries and it berly been used and it doesn’t work now :( just threw money in the trash

It’s ok. Larger than I thought it would be which is fun. But the parts aren’t super functional for my two year old.

The side door doesn’t shut… even by adults. It stays slightly out and my toddler definitely can’t shut it. The truck bed opens but will only stay up if the slide is input, which is too difficult for a toddler so if they are impatient, like a toddler is, it will frustrate them. The doors to the main truck part are flimsy and it’s hard to get the people in it. Poorly designed for a toddler toy.

It's not worth the price, poor construction

The toy is very poorly constructed. The components that open and close are not fit properly. Therefore, when the toy is converted into a fire truck doors don’t stay shut. Prime examples are the yellow and green doors on the rear of the drivers side of the truck. They flip open easily because it seems that the tabs that are used to secure them closed are not long enough. This issue is present upon opening the package. We’ve had the toy for less than a day. What I Can are happening is that the does will fly open while my son is pushing around the fire truck and they get caught on something and break off. For $60. I expected better construction. Something more along the lines of little people construction. You are definitely only paying for the coco melon name.

Doesn’t matter if it well made or not. Have a 5 year old autistic son who loves Cocomelon. He saw it and wanted it so had to get it for Christmas. Got it on sale which was great.

Not sure if we got a defective toy but almost all of the pieces fell off within two days I wouldn’t recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cocomelon is a HUGE hit in our house and the merch has taken a "HIT";on my wallet as well. This was an easy set up with this firetruck and my daughter loves the little ladder and spinner that makes it looks like it's a real fire truck. The Figurines are dressed up just like little firemen and when you press the buttons it makes various noise. All in all we love Jay Jay and his new firetruck !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The firetruck is super cute and my little girl LOVES as she loves all things CoCoMelon. She likes to push the firetruck around and push the button that will play songs. When you open it up it's got a cute little playset inside that the little figures can be used in for imaginative play. Your kid will like this toy. There are two things about it that I don't love though. There are little clips in the front seat of the firetruck that JJ and Nina clip into so they will sit up straight and not fall out. It's a good idea but it's kind of a pain to put them into the clips and take them out. My little girl definitely can't manage it. The only other thing that isn't ideal is that you have to choose between it being the firetruck that you can drive around and the cute playset with the slide when it is opened up. It doesn't close up easily. You have to pull out the slide and unsnap a ledge and then fold it up to change it from the open layout and the closed up firetruck. Kids won't be able to make this change. They will have to come to you to change it if they decide they want to change it from one to the other.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is 4 years old and has been a fan of Cocomelon for alittle while now. She was over the top excited to get this toy and shocked by how big it was! It's a pretty good size toy but it's needed to all the fun stuff included. There are little characters, a fire hydrant and ladder included. There are lights and sounds that that my daughter loves to play with. The firetruck also turns into a radio station with a radio. My daughter likes pretend she's the dispatch making calls out and then driving the fire truck off the the emergency. This toy is very nice quality and has been played with for several hours over the last week!

I think this is the cutest toy! Came packaged nicely & works great! I think it’s worth the price tag.
