Nice Build
Cardboard was easy to break apart, which was great for my 5 year old. Putting it together took a bit of time, but once the pieces were connected it was a bit more sturdy. I suggest adding beads to the end of the two cords to keep them from popping out of the premade holes. Overall, it was a nice hide away for our daughter.

Assembly is Diabolical
Assembly is diabolical. Don't try to assemble with your children. Cardboard tabs rip off fairly easily. I did not enjoy the process to set up AT ALL. I did understand I would need to put it together, but there has to be an easier way. I hope my kids enjoy the tilted car wash.

Missing pieces
My kids loved the Christmas one so got this for spring break but when we went to put it together, it was missing a whole sheet of parts to put it together. It still worked but not as cute with missing pieces.

Loved it!
I absolutely loved this! We had so much fun building the car wash together. Once it was set up, it kept my toddler happily busy coloring, which gave me some time to get things done around the house—a huge win. I already purchased another one! I noticed some reviews mentioned that the instructions weren’t clear, but honestly, that wasn’t our experience at all. My toddler and I had no trouble putting it together. The flaps fit just fine—you simply need to fold them a bit so they slide into the holes and hold the structure in place.

Run to anything else
This is worse than anything Ikea could offer. The flaps are too big for the holes, so I eventually had to start cutting them, which is so fun to do when you have toddlers on either side waiting to play. Quality wise, it’s junk. Flaps ripped super easy. This won’t last my son. It’s also super small. Do yourself a favor and save the stress for something else.

Fun coloring activity for kids

They’re always looking for activities and I loved that I could get them to color and then turn this into a fort. The quality of the cardboard is good and seems sturdy for play. The value is great for this activity and the fort that it turns into. I love the design of the car wash and all the little extra play pieces. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never gotten one of these before but thought the car wash would be fun since it’s so much more interactive than past ones they have done! It wasn’t terrible to put together and my toddler helped me punch out the pieces. The kids had fun coloring it and did interact with it for a while. It is on the smaller side. My three year old could crawl thru and maybe two three year olds could fit inside.

Best play car wash to color
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve put together a couple of coloring cardboard things like this. Hands down, this is the best one. I didn’t need to use packing tape to lock the seams. One week later it’s still standing. The outside absorbs the color beautifully. I like the addition of the car wash opening. For the tools, I ended up doing a double slip knot. I didn’t like how long the strings were.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cardboard car wash seemed so fun and it was very fun but only for a short period of time. My kids loved it for one day and then moved on, didn’t even want to color it in. The assembly actually took longer than expected and there seemed to be a lot more pieces than the usual cardboard “houses” from this brand. The coins and cards that could slide in are such a cute feature though and that’s what my kids liked the most about this. The last picture is of it now, falling apart after my kids abandoned it.

Stress for little play time
The holes made for the flaps are way too small. Lots of torn cardboard. Lots of little pieces and took lots of time to assemble compare to other cardboard kids houses I’ve bought. It is cute once assembled but the quality isn’t amazing. The white paper tore and the little flaps that hang are also paper and the adhesive tabs did not stick well. Markers are sold separate

So much smaller than previous forts we’ve gotten in the past. We have a shorter than average 3 year old and he has to crawl to fit in. The concept is cute but sizing is way off.
