A:Â There are three heat settings (high, low, and energy save). The fan can be run independently from the heat settings, but you can not run the heat on high and the fan on low at the same time.

A:Â The cord for this heater is 6 feet in length. As with all space heaters, it is not recommended to use an extension cord, because they are not able handle the power needed. It is recommended you plug the heater directly into the wall outlet.

I’ve had this heater about a year now and I’ve honestly never been able to put in on the highest level due to the horrible burned smell it gives off. I should have returned it. Such a waste of money. Always read reviews before buying.

Hello Mom, Sometimes new electronics give off a specific odor or could smoke as the lubricants from the factory burn off. This smell and any fumes will evaporate over time. Look at these 29 reviews. 25 of them are written by people who got one sent by CZone for free, but every customer who paid for one gives these heaters a terrible review, and I'm one of 'em. I bought four and every one was defective right out of the box: No heat, hardly any heat, fan very noisy, indicating imminent failure, fan not working at all. Models almost same: CZ45E and CZ45EFDS. I also bought a much more expensive "Milkhouse" CZone heater, and it also had super-loud fan noise, again signalling imminent failure; had to take that one back, too. B.t.w., I plugged in directly to brand-new wall outlets all over my house, and I never tripped a breaker, eitherso it wasn't an electrical-supply problem, and my non-CZone heaters all work just fine.

I have had this heater for less than 1 year and it stopped working already. Just randomly quit one day. It had done this before but started working again after a couple of hours so I didn't think much of it. It has been days since it quit and it just doesn't work anymore

I have had this heater for a few months. Only used it a handful of times in my home office. The other day I had it turned on and all of a sudden it shut itself off. I haven't been able to get it to turn back on since. Very disappointed but after the warranty period is over.

On the energy saver setting it works pretty well but won’t really heat up a room. Have ours in an 11 x 11 room and it gets somewhat warm. If you want it really warm then this probably isn’t the one for you. Basically, takes the chill out of the room. Works a little better on the high setting for more warmth. For our purposes, it works fine.

Hi a, It sounds like your heater may be plugged into an outlet that may be overloaded from other appliances on the same circuit. You may want to try moving your heater to another plug. I bought this to warm up the bathroom when we're taking showers and it works very well for this purpose. As it's so small, it easily fits into a closet or can sit in a corner when not in use. I don't find it powerful enough for a larger room and I wouldn't leave it on for long periods of time, but it does what we need it to do.
