When using Command Hooks to hang curtains rods it is important to note that when more than one hook is used to hold an item, make sure that the weight is evenly distributed between the hooks. The hooks need to be level when holding rods. When more than one hook is used to hold an item, the total weight capacity remains the same as one hook. Using with rod diameter less than 5/8", length less than 48", and finial greater than 3/4". In use, slide curtain across. Do not pull down. adhesive doesn't stick
They changed the formula. These don't stick anymore. I had to use them to hang up a curtain rod and I used a ton, but they litterally slide off the wall. If you touch the adhesive you can tell it has no stickiness to it. Don't waste your money like I did.

Doesn’t not sitck! I was using it to hold something under 3lbs and it says it holds up to 10lbs… fell immediately! I held it on the walls and applied pressure for several minutes to make sure it was secure and still never held up! Do not buy it! I’ve never had this issue with other command strips.

Not functional
The application mechanism of these hooks is significantly less functional than other command hooks. The plastic backing does not release from the hook front when you push it upwards, so pulling the hook up rips off the backing before it can set. I followed the instructions exactly and used multiple adhesive strips with the same issue. This was super disappointing as I have loved most other command hooks that I've tried.

waste of money
i used two of these to temporarily hang a curtain rod and light curtains for one night, and it fell off the wall within 10 minutes. the rod and curtains combined are not anywhere near 20 pounds, yet each hook is advertised to hold 10 pounds. waste of my money, i wish i could get a refund but one of the hooks broke

I used this hook for a small hanging ivy plant. I followed all instructions. It came off the wall within 4 days. Luckily, the items it fell on were not broken. I do NOT recommend this hook. My plant only weighs 3 pounds.

Saddened but didn’t stay up
I normally love command strips but it seems like they must of changed their recipe or how they make their products. I tried five different hooks, on different parts of my wall, and with several different sticky backs and every one fell down. And it wasn’t because it was too much weight. I am so sadden by this and maybe I just got a bad batch?
