Fiberglass is a more commonly used for tub surrounds. The caddy sticks to many surfaces, including glass, mirror, tile, fiberglass, wood and painted surfaces. I followed the directions carefully and even placed this in a location that does not get any sort of water contact. I filled it with three small bottles that totalled less than 2 pounds, distributed evenly. It fell today, thankfully when I was in the shower so I could prevent the thing falling and breaking my products and/or damaging my tub. I like the size and shape of the caddy and was honestly very happy with it at first. So disappointing how poor quality these strips were, however.

I read all the reviews of this and decided to hold out hope it would work for me. It didn’t. I followed all the instructions to the letter, but it fell off the wall about a week after I put it up. I had much less than the “maximum” weight in the basket. Such a bummer because I’ve been very happy with many other command items over the years, and it would be a great thing if it worked.

Great product until it’s not. It holds well but you can’t use any heavy or have the weight distribution uneven. It will break off the wall at the clear plastic holders and be useless. I would love for command to have the ability to get replacement pieces!

I love the command products but something has changed. They are not as good as they used to be. I put this up in my shower, lasted less than 2 days before it came crashing down. The one I put up several years ago is still in place at my old house.

Wanted this to hold bottled and bar soaps. Unfortunately, it angles downward so bar soap is constantly sliding through the 2 inch gap in the front. Would have been better if the bottom half was more of a basket.

I purchased two of these and they are not staying up. I went and spent money on extra strips to try again and on the second try the first one is staying. So, I hung up my second one and it fell down with barely anything in it. Now, the first one that I finally got to stay is popping off again. It is frustrating because I always used the plastic caddy without any problems. It stayed up for over 5 years. I just wanted something that looked a little better in our shower.

I finally took ours down. I cannot believe that 3M makes a shower caddy that rusts. It was such a waste of money, and now, my time to clean it off the shower wall.

Worked really well until we had to move places and remove it. The command strip broke as we stretched it, making it impossible to remove the bracket from the wall. That’s another issue. Now Having a hard time finding a replacement bracket so we can use it again in the new place. Any suggestions?
