I bought 2 cans of the original Country Apple and smelled and tasted like apples were old. Thought Duncan Hines could be counted on but wont buy again. Date stamp 10-23

We have used this pie filling for years to fill apple crepes. We have also drizzled with caramel syrup and sprinkled with pecan small chips. Better than any upscale restaurant!

Did Not Like. Had an odd taste and ruined an apple cinnamon roll bake. The cinnamon roll part was really good, but when you hot to a piece with apple, it was gross.

Odd taste, almost artificial. I tasted it before I used it in a pie and thought maybe baking it would change to flavor. It didn't. Granny Smith and Mac apples have a tart taste, but this was weird. Maybe it was the preservatives used to keep the apples from oxidizing in the processing. Would not recommend. Cut your own apples.

I made an apple pie for Thanksgiving using the recipe on the label. It was a big hit. It required TWO cans, so make sure you buy enough. Next time, I'll skip the crust and just use the filling and lots of the topping recipe on the label.

I bought this filling because we wanted to make mini apple pies using muffin tins. Pros: -Convenient and easy to use -This product is just right for what we needed. It made the process much easier by saving time! - Very happy that this product does not have any corn syrup! Cons: - The taste is not sweet so added a little brown sugar and it was ok. -Not certified organic nor NON-GMO ! Lots of moms are concerned about this issue. So it would be nice to know if this pie filling is NON-GMO. This is a good product to have on hand for when you are short on time. It is great that it is not overly sweetened with corn syrup. Will likely purchase this again.

I usually use nothing but fresh apples but I saw the more fruit and no high fructose corn syrup so I decided to get a few "emergency cans". This was a the beginning of the coved-19 self quarantine time. Well my husband loves an apple pie on his March birthday so my emergency apple pie filling came in handy. It is loaded with apples and is not overly sweet. I had two fresh apples I added chopped small to the canned and made a huge pie for him. Now I will always make my pies this way! Thank you for a wonderful product.
