About this item

Osho

In this new book in the “Insights for a New Way of Living” series, Osho speaks in depth about trust in all its senses.

Trust doesn’t mean naiveté, positive thinking, or baseless optimism. True trust requires a true “yes.” And to discover this true “yes,” we must have the strength to examin and divest ourselves of everything that is false. Osho has spoken frequently about the imporatnce of doubt, of questioning, of seeing things as they are, not as others tell us they should be.
Trust is without a doubt a greater value than love; love is implicit in trust, but trust is not implicit in love. When you say, “I trust you,” your love is understood. But when you say that you love someone, trust doesn’t necessarily have anything to do with that. In fact, love can be very untrusting and generate fear of losing the person you love.

“Trust is understanding that you are just one part, one note in the great symphony, a small wave in the ocean. Trust means following the whole, flowing with the whole, being in harmony with the whole.” –Osho
