I have a 15lb 6m old and a 27lb 2.5yr old that I tried this with. I tried this front facing in and front facing out with the 6m old and the back carry with the 2.5 yr old. It was a lot intuitive to put on and put the little ones in than other carriers I used which was a huge plus. (I still have a different brand carrier from 2 years ago that I never use because I could never figure it out). The first time I used it - the straps were a bit uncomfortable and digging into my underarm, but as I used it and adjust the straps, it loosened up there. My 6m old seems to find it very comfortable as he gets all snuggly and almost falls asleep in it. My 2.5 yr old was easily able to get into it with just my assistance and seemed to be comfortable - only wanting to get down to be able to run free. The straps are easily changed from backpack style to crossed and the cross style also helped with the under arm issue. The sun cover is another perk and is easy to take out and put back inside its pouch. I was not positive that I'd like it this much after my first use - but after learning how I like it to fit to enhance comfort - it has become a staple around here. I received this product for free in exchange for a review but am in no way influenced in my review.

I loved this baby carrier (and so did my baby!) This was one of the comfiest, yet still supportive, carriers that I have tried. I have only tried the face in position since my baby is 5 months old but I can’t wait to try the others once she’s a bit bigger! The straps were easily adjustable and I loved the little hooks so I was able to adjust things even when I was alone with the baby. The strap across the back that adjusted was one of my favorite features. I also was a big fan of the hidden sunshade in the front pocket. That was really nice for the many times we were out and about in the sun this summer. It’s a little pricier than some other carriers on the market but the quality and versatility would be well worth the cost in my opinion. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I received the Contours Journey Go in order to facilitate this review. As soon as I received this carrier, I opened the box and noted how soft the fabric was and just how nice it looked! I immediately put my 18lb. 8 month old in it in the facing out position. She was very well supported and comfortable. I was able to accomplish several hands free chores around the house without issue. Then I tried the carrier in the facing in position with my tiny 14lb. 8 month old. Because she lacks upper body strength and has high tone in her legs, I was concerned that she might not be as comfortable. She settled right in and actually fell asleep. The 3D breathable mesh and moisture wicking lining kept her from getting too sweaty while she slept. I would definitely be comfortable using this carrier from newborn up and I can’t wait to try to back carry my girls. The one thing that did not work for me was the hideaway sunshade. Because it is just so hot and sunny here, the black sunshade caused my babies head to sweat instantly. Maybe a lighter color like a light grey would be better!

I would have liked to have it 2 1/2 years ago with my first baby. When I received this carrier, I fall in love with it at the first sight. It's the first time I'm using a carrier like this, because the one that I tryed in the past was too heavy for me. I'm 5'1 and this carrier is easy to put on/out. It's very comfortable, light and the material that is made is very soft. I love the differents ways that I can use this carrier. It's feel very secure, also I love the pocket, it's big enough to put a diapper, my keys and my money. For sure I will recommended this wonderful carrier to my family and friends. I was part of a product testing group, I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review!
comfortable carrier

I have two kids, and have used many carriers both slings and traditionally carriers. This one is a very good one but does have two minor issues. The straps are padded and wide enough to be comfortable. The only draw back is that there is so much extra strap and I don't know what to do with it, so I end up trying it up behind me as seen in the photo. The built-in pockets are great for holding phone, wallet, keys, etc. The only minor complaint is that the items you put in the front pocket get pushed against your baby a bit, which can be uncomfortable. The sun shade is a brilliant idea, and very useful here in Texas for babies tiny sensitive heads. The weight distribution of the carrier is nice and allows me to comfortably carry both my infant and my toddler. The multiple carry styles are nice, especially the side carry, as I have not seen that before in a carrier. Overall, a very good product. I received it as a promotion and got the gray version. I found afterwards that this also comes in other colors, including a very pretty shade of red. I would definitely recommend this for friends and family members' baby registries.

We are a hiking family and the contour journey carrier is really helpful when going out with the baby on one of our adventures. The strap around the waist helps distribute the baby’s weight so you don’t have back pain from all that extra weight and the sun protector is a MAJOR plus for me to keep my baby safe and keep the heat off.

I am a mama to five kiddos. I’m currently baby wearing my twins. I’ve tried every carrier out there and this one fits and feels the best by far. I’m 5’2 about 120lbs and this carrier fits me perfectly. Other carriers on the market tend to slip off my shoulders or cause back pain when worn for an extended amount of time. Not the contours journey! It’s light weight and easy to throw in your diaper bag. It is breathable and cool. (We live in Los Angeles, Ca) and it fits perfectly. I love all the options of how you can carry baby. And this carrier actually makes it easy to double carry. I wear one baby on the front and one on the back! 100% recommend this to all mamas!!

Bottom line, buy this carrier!! Let me break it down for you. I have 4 kids and have had about 10 carriers over 13 years. I practice attached parenting so I use a carrier A LOT, like several times every day. This carrier is the luxury vehicle of carriers! There are many reasons this carrier is my new favorite but I will start with the most important feature, the amazingly genius adjustable leg openings. There is nothing more important when babywearing than your baby having their legs/hips in the proper hip-healthy "M" position while facing you, this has been impossible with any other multi position carrier I have tried. This Contours Journy carrier has easy adjustable leg openings that allow you to create that perfect "M" seat for baby while facing you and then easily open the leg holes to flip baby forward facing. It's pure genius! I will never use my other carriers again. This is the first ever carrier that I can truly use comfortably in all positions with my 10 month old and 2.5 year old. I have used it daily for the past few weeks (hours at a time) and have zero complaints, it is comfortable to wear, easy to put on and adjust, I can nurse discreetly, and the fabric is soft and floppy right out of the box. I wish I found this year's ago, I would've saved myself so much money and hassle. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

I’m not a baby wearer but since having a second child who is super clingy I figured why not give it a second shot and I’m so glad I did! The Contours Journey Carrier is fabulous. It’s super easy to put on and feels very secure. Plus having a pocket for my phone with easy access is a HUGE plus. I wear a lot of leggings/yoga pants that don’t have pockets so having one in the carrier is a big plus. Below are some things I liked better from the Contours Journey Carrier as opposed to the other carrier I have. 1. The other popular carrier brand only had one pocket at the waist. You can’t see the pocket because you have a baby on your chest so you are blindly routing around for your item. Having the pocket higher up on the Contours Journey Carrier allows you to have a better view of looking for your item. 2. The back strap. With the Contours Journey Carrier it’s very easy to hook the back strap that falls between your shoulder blades. Plus baby feels very secure while you are doing this. The other brand I felt like I was doing acrobatics to hook it in place. 3. Comfort is key and the Contours Journey Carrier is very comfortable compared to the other brand and seems to distribute the weight better. Overall I would recommend this carrier. If I had one negative thing to say it left a little indent mark on baby’s leg…it just might take some more adjusting to get the perfect fit though. I also have only used the carrier in the front position currently so I can’t really give a review for the others because my little one isn’t old enough yet but I’m willing to give it a try because of how comfortable this one is. I was part of a product testing group and this is my honest and unbiased review of the product.

I received this product free in exchange for my review. When I first pulled the carrier out of the box, I thought - this looks complicated. Then, I realized that they had already set it up for the first carrying position. My daughter was nice and cozy and happily toted around. Her long legs wrapped perfectly and I was not worried she was going to fall. The directions were easy to read and the product smelled great coming out of the box. My only suggestion is that I am 200 pounds and 5'7", so I had to move the strap to the last position. If I would have been a few pounds heavier, it might not have fit me very well.

Hands down the best baby carrier on the market! I love the Contours® Journey 5-in-1 Baby Carrier for so many reasons. The first reason is no newborn insert! I never felt comfortable having to put my baby in and trying to position the inserts! I was so glad I did not have to mess with that! I love that my baby can fit into this carrier for many years to come! 45 pounds is such a huge weight limit!! I love the 5 different ways to use this carrier! I even feed while my son it is in there!! This is the perfect carrier for everything! We use it while on walks, at the store, at the playground, while hiking! We do everything with this carrier! It works great in every different way we have used it! We will be using until he is too big!! He is always comfortable and happy in there! We love how it fits me and my husband without any huge changes. Its perfect! I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review!

After receiving this carrier, we quickly fell in love with it. I have always been a "baby wearer" and frequently used a wrap in the newborn phase and eventually transitioned to a more structured carrier as my baby grew. This carrier feels like the best of both of those worlds. It feels light enough that is mimics a wrap, but also structured enough (but still lightweight) to mimic a carrier. Since living in a large city and having a busy toddler, I needed to have both hands available as often as possible. This carrier absolutely helped with that. I wear my youngest while commuting on the public bus and simultaneously holding my toddler's hand. I use this when he is fussy and only wants to sleep on me, but I need to cook dinner. One critique is how long the straps are (when tightening). They are very long and usually have to wrap them again around my waist so they don't fall to the ground. Additionally, I mostly use the carrier when my son is in a position facing my chest. It's a little difficult to have him held in place with one hand while trying to pull the carrier over my head with the other. I wish there was a way to open the side straps. I very much love the lightweight feeling and the ability to cover their little heads in the sunshine. Overall, I think this is a great carrier and would recommend to all of my family and friends!

This is our third baby and I've used other carriers before and they worked ok and let me get work done around the house. All my babies always wanted to be held, so I have tried a few different types of wraps and carriers. The Contours Journey is so much easier to put on and take off than others and thanks to the padded waist band, I can wear baby for hours without my back or shoulders hurting! All the straps have a good amount of padding to them and are easily adjustable. I picked the Bordeaux and the colors are beautiful. Baby does not get hot while wearing, the fabric seems breathable. Zippered storage for small items and the breathable sunshade is great for walks when the sun beats down on us (we're in Colorado and need to protect baby's sensitive skin). I've mostly worn baby facing inward so far, I was able to breastfeed while wearing him! And giving him a bottle while wearing him worked fine as well. Looking forward to having baby face outward soon and explore the world! Overall, I am very happy with this baby carrier! I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

The contours journey 5-in-1 baby carrier is amazing. It is super light and easy to put on. It adjust for all shapes and sizes. With being a bigger sized person I always worry about things fitting and fitting safely. This baby carrier does that. It fits and adjust so I even have room to grow. It is very comfortable to wear and the baby loves it. I had no back issues or being uncomfortable wether walking around the park or walking hours at Disney world. It is easy to transfer from from carrier to back. The gray is very unisex. Will be used for all babies! I received this item for free in exchange for a review.

This carrier has it all. It’s extremely comfortable to wear. The straps are very nice and padded and do not hurt my shoulders. The strap around the waist is also padded and very comfortable. This carrier has pockets so when going on a walk I can put extra pacifiers abs my phone or keys in the zipper pockets. My son loves to be held but it’s super hard to get anything done. I wear this around the house while doing housework as well as when we go on walks as a family. It helps to free up my hands and allows me to do other things while still holding my little one. This carrier can be used multiple ways which is really appealing. I also love that it has a built in sunshade. I live in Florida so this is extremely helpful! I highly recommend this carrier!
