Q: Does the seat clip in securely? It doesn’t specify or look like the seat has stability in the tub.

A: Hi Yoly! Thanks for submitting your question. The Contours Oasis Contours Oasis 2-Stage Comfort Cushion Baby Bathtub seat securely attaches to the toddler tub. The rectangular wedge on the reverse side of the cushion allows your seat and cushion to be attached to the tub. Please refer to page 2 of your instruction manual for supporting images. Thanks!

Q: I don't understand how you're supposed to filter clean water in. Do you need to use this in a shower so the water can drain out? And then keep the shower water running into the tub for fresh water?

A: Hi! The Contours Oasis 2-Stage Comfort Cushion Baby Bathtub should be used in an empty adult tub or sink and as little water as possible should be used to bathe your baby. You should also keep the drain open while using the baby bathtub in an adult tub or sink. Great question!

I’ve no idea why the bath has such strong, positive reviews - maybe a bunch of influencers were paid to review it? The pad is next to impossible to dry fully each night, even if you break it down after every use. If you wash it, the fabric toughens up and becomes too rough for your baby’s skin. It’s smelly and unpleasant after less than a few months of use. Further, the three elastic ties which attach the pad to bath will rub against the spine of your child and prove very uncomfortable. We noticed visible red marks after each usage. I reached out to customer service and girl zero response, hence, the review.

I had high hopes for this tub especially since it’s so well reviewed. There are a few things I like for example the drain hole on the side and the drain hole on the bottom. However this tub has been nothing but a hassle. It does not hang up easily on the shower wall and the cushion molded after a few uses. It’s a great size and my baby is comfortable in the size and angle of the insert but now I’m make shifting a cushion on it with towels which makes for an even more chaotic experience trying to set up the bath and then put everything away afterwards. I’ve contacted their customer service about a replacement cushion but they never responded to me. I’m now looking for another bath tub for my baby.

Our son has fit comfortably and securely in this tub since he was born. The gray plastic support is angled perfectly for washing his hair and I t clicks into place in the tub. I like the rubber grips on the bottom of the tub which prevents it from slipping. The mesh cushion is nicely padded for comfort but I do notice a mildew smell after a few baths, even after rinsing it and allowing it to air dry after each use. However, it is very easily washed in the washing machine. Overall we are happy with it and would recommend.

Love this bathtub for my newborn. So far it hasn't grown mold but will be on the look out. It is easy to use and the mesh is washable and BPA Free. Would recommend for newborn! It fits on my sink (which is not the biggest) so I don't have to bend down or kneel to bathe my newborn. I had a C-section done so I was able to help with bathing her! Also when using the sink you just put the draning hole near the sink and it drain directly in there so convenient!

I’ve been using this tub for 3 months now. After just one bath, the foam/mesh always smells like mildew. I even put it through the washing machine and dryer. Also, the grey plastic part is always a challenge to click in.

Perfect little tub for my baby. It looks comfortable for him and the water comes through the seat so he’s somewhat submerged. His butt, back and legs are in the water. I saw a reviewer says it’s hard to clean but I didn’t have that issue, my baby pooped in it the first time we used it and it rinsed out of the mesh with hot water from the shower head. I don’t usually use the drain because it’s kind of hard to push in the seal, I just flip it over and let it air dry in the tub. I wish it was maybe raised a little so it was more comfortable leaning over the edge of the bathtub, but that’s not a big deal, it’s high enough.

Bought this tub as a first time parent and will buy a new tub for second child. Worked great for my child as a newborn but around 5 months when my son started to move more the grey insert kept sliding and falling into the tub because there is no way to lock it in place. The mesh has started to mold and I feel unsafe using. There is also no transition seat for learning to sit which I’m finding is what we need now.
