Coolhaus™ Sundae Funday Ice Cream 1 pt
about this item
Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate hazelnut swirl, & salted roasted almonds. AKA moshe saf-isticated sundae. Real California milk. Hashtag Wekeepitreal. About the Architect: After Moshe Safdie apprenticed for Louis Kahn (aka Louis Ba-Kahn) our candied bacon ice cream sandwich), he oversaw the master plan for expo 67 in Montreal. In 1964, he established his own firm, Habitat 67, which pioneered the design and implementation of prefabricated units for living. He was awarded the 1967 Construction Man of the Year Award for the Engineering News Record and the Massey Medal for architecture in Canada for Habitat 87. All-natural. WBE Certified: Certified women-owned business. Locally-sourced ingredients. No rBST: Bovine growth hormone. The Story of Coolhaus: In 2008, while working our other jobs in design and real estate, we started making ice cream and cookies from scratch in our kitchen with local, sustainably sourced & unique ingredients. We named the combinations after architects we loved to support our community. Soon after, we bought a postal van and converted it into an ice cream truck. Popularity grew quickly, and now we have a national fleet, storefronts, and have expanded our product line to include handpacked pints like the one you're holding right now. Even though we've grown, nothing has changed about our sourcing, making things from scratch, innovating our favorite flavor combinations, or our punny architectural names. Inside, you will find a gourmet, handmade dessert product just like we make them fresh out of the truck and at stores. - Natasha & Freya, Owners & Founders.
