Overall Width: 48 inches Overall Height: 17 inches Overall Depth: 18 inches Distance from floor to bottom of seat: 13.1 inches Height of seat cushion: 4.25 inches Width of legs: 41.5 inches Depth of legs: 15.25 inches
Attachment holes on legs are not aligned/ consistent among the four legs.
In the correct case (per image below) you see that the leg mates with the top of the bench.
The worst case (per another image below), you can see that there is nearly a half inch gap between the leg and the top of the bench (added finger for scale).
This is a result of the attachment holes not being of the same distance between the legs (see image showing part B and Part C).
This can result in poor weight distribution and support. (I.e. imagine two people sitting on it and the legs giving out in the outward direction).
I would not recommend this bench based on just the price point, required assembly, and quality of the final design factored in with a safety issue.
May be okay if you're just looking for a decorative piece and do not see using this on a daily basis.
Although nice enough looking, wasn’t the easiest to put together, I’m talking about the thinner spindle between each set of two legs, there’s a pilot hole to put a wood screw into and after I tightened the screw it was so long it protruded though the wood, it is noticeable if you know it is there, I am concerned the leg will crack over time. Only ordered it because another one I already purchased last year, (I wanted a second one) was out of stock in the color I had wanted, the Saxon upholstered bench is what it is called, I much prefer that model. I guess time will tell if the leg will crack.
Beautiful bench! My husband assembled it and didn’t have too many complaints. It feels pretty sturdy and is comfortable. The only complaint was there was some chipped wood on one of the legs. Luckily it doesn’t show when fully assembled.
