A: This rug has a very thick pile (2 inches). It would be hard to move chairs in and out from under a table easily with this rug. And due to the deep pile, food crumbs out be hard to clean out of it. This rug is better in a bedroom or a living room area. I would do a lower pile rug in a dining room.

A: More of a gray for sure. I know some people say it looks kinda tan, but I disagree. We have an absolutely gray couch (no tan or taupe tones in it at all), and when I compare the stripes in this rug to our couch, the stripes match.

A: It looks more like the review photos. I ordered it in a small size just to see, and sure enough it’s definitely a shade or two darker than the stock photo shows. The stock photo shows it looking very light but it isn’t. It’s closer to an oatmeal color.
