Corelle 18pc Vitrelle Embossed Bella Faenza Dinnerware Set White

A: All the pieces have the raised floral motif. What pieces are included depends upon where you buy the set. I bought a 16 piece set which came with 4 dinner plates, 4 appetizer/salad plates, 4 bowls which are about 20 ounces (more than large enough for a cereal or soup bowl,) and 4 mugs. The mugs are made of porcelain, are thicker, heavier and are from China while the dishes are made in the USA out of Vitrelle a glass composite material made by Corelle. They are lighter, thinner, but very durable. I have not found other serving pieces with the floral motif.

A: All pieces are embossed; no matching mugs - found clear glass Anchor Hawking pedestal mugs that look great. Only a 1 qt. serving bowl so far - but the classic winter white series does match.

A: update: There is a 16pc set available elsewhere w/mugs but w/o bowls -- note that the mugs are not made in the US. Either option; it's worth waiting for a sale price [15% off is decent, but sales are sometimes greater during holidays].

A: Target sets have the smaller bowls not the 32oz serving bowls. The 32oz is only sold individually.

A: Every once in a great while the dishwasher will miss a spot on these dishes, but it hasn't happened very often.
