So I reviewed another mascara earlier & did this the same. No makeup, straight out of the package application on one side, just a quick swipe. As you can my lashes are nearly non existent without mascara. This is a no Gump, quick lengthening mascara, I really like the fat brush at the end. It seems to grip my lashes better than most. As stated no makeup (Sorry yall) just to show the product on barely existent lashes, when I curl or apply lashes this stuff turn into glam city & it's why Covergirl is and will stay in my daily bag! Follow me for more daily bag picks! You just might be surprised!

I love Cover Girl makeup I always use it and that's what I mostly buy. I would remand it to others. I do like other brands that I have tried that's drug store brands. Someday I hope to try out high-end makeup.

I love this mascara! It goes on nice and smooth without clumping or flaking into my eye. You can put on additional coats of it for a more dramatic look. As you can see I applied it to one of my eyes but not the other so it's clear what the product does on its own. One thing I don't love is the thickness and shape of the brush. It doesn't taper at the end like many other mascaras so I usually end up getting some on my eyelid or poking my eye 😬 It would be perfect if the brush were curved, however I still like this product and recommend it for everyday use. I like how big it makes my eyes look!

This is a good mascara to have on hand or when I need to buy something fast. Very black and good coverage. My go-to is Doucce brand, but doesn’t hurt to have couple mascaras on hand

HORRIBLE! I bought it 2 days ago for the beach. Me and my best friend used it in the morning and it barely showed on our lashes despite putting on multiple layers, it barely showed. About 2 hours later we made it to the beach and were in the water and we just dipped our heads in the water, nothing to intense, and it started peeling and melting off. Worse purchase i ever made

I’ve purchased this twice, it is a pretty good mascara for the drugstore! Not overly wet or clumpy and does a good job at length and volume. I wouldn’t say it’s the most dramatic mascara but a good everyday choice.

I had opened the package and tried this mascara before realizing it was not waterproof as described online. What tipped me off? My freshly curled lashes drooped immediately! Target, please change the description to water-resistant. I would not have purchased this had it been properly labeled.

I’ve used this mascara loyally for 15 years but they just changed the formula and it’s disgusting. I will be throwing it away and never buying again. It now has small artificial lash extensions in it as other reviewers have called out.

I’ve been using this product since it came out years ago. I have tried many others, but kept coming back to this for the length and volume. As of early 2023 something is different. The product now is clumpy, doesn’t go on as smooth or last as long, it flakes and always has these tiny hairs in it, which I was very concerned about until I read that they are “silk fibers”. Whatever they are, they add to the clump and flaking. Im sad I’ll have to find a new mascara after 10+ years

Bought this mascara this weekend and after opening it for the first time I noticed a bunch of tiny hairs in the mascara. Never used before and they aren't the silicone bristles.

I love the really dark black on my lashes. The mascara really makes my lashes look longer and thicker. The best part is it lasts all night without fading so I don’t have to reapply. Great mascara from Covergirl.

I don’t know if I just got a bad one or what but I will not be buying this specific mascara again. I bought this directly from the store and went to use it the same day and on the first swipe I was poked in the eye with something. At first I thought is just got too close with the wand until I look at it and noticed a few little eyelashe length hairs on it. I thought maybe they were mine but looked at the tube and saw more little hairs sticking out of it. See the first photo to see what it looked like when I dipped the wand back in the tube… I immediately stopped using it on my eyes because I have no idea what it is but I was grossed out. I ended up wiping the wand on a tissue to look at it better and make sure I wasn’t crazy, which I included a picture of. I’ve never had this problem with Covergirl, but I haven’t ever bought this specific mascara, I usually get the orange tube. I will be returning it and picking a different kind because I don’t want to risk this happening again.

Really waterproof. Doesn't smudge. My daughter and I both have tried various mascaras and find this to be the most longwearing, waterproof mascara at a price far less than many promoted by social media influencers. I'll bet when the camera is off and they're buying everyday makeup, they're buying this product, too!

This is my go to mascara. It applies nicely with no clumping for flaking. It does not smear if I happen to rub my eyes. I love the volume that it gives my short thin lashes.
