Covet - Target Exclusive Edition by Tracy Wolff (Hardcover)

I really enjoyed this book a great deal. These books are an easy read for me that carries the plot but hasn't been overly wordy on setting the deep layers of behind the scene story. In this particular book, Wolff does a good job of giving us a deeper look into multiple characters - not just the Vega brothers. I will tell you that I found Grace a bit whinier than usual. I guess we could all be pretty whiney at 18 but I really want to pull her aside and tell her to quit being so wishy-washy all the time! If you like the first two books in this series, you will love this one as well! I don't want to drop spoilers so I will just say that I am eagerly waiting for the final book to give me closure.

I have anxiously been waiting for this book to be released since I finished Crush a couple of months ago. The author does an amazing job of creating a fantasy world that feels real when you're reading about it, and you absolutely get lost in the book! It has everything you could want in a fantasy novel -- from vampires to giants and everything in between — and is full of love, loss, magic, and danger. Plus the chapter headings are so clever! I've learned in this series that you have to expect the unexpected. As a reader, you are put through the whole range of emotions in Covet, from the highest highs to the lowest lows, and you will laugh and cry right along with the characters in the book. I highly recommend you read this one as a buddy read, because you will be glad for the emotional support throughout the journey! I really can't say enough good things about this series, every book just gets better and better, and I can't wait for the 4th book Court which is coming out this fall! I would highly recommend this third book in the Crave series! Wolff is a captivating writer who utilizes whit and humor to maintain the steady pace of characters ever evolving journey. She has pop culture references and also brings light to small, but significant and important moments in the novel. It was a pleasure to spend more time with the much loved characters of the Crave series.
