An intriguing idea that fell short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this cake to make for a end of the school year taco bar party. I thought the lime and coconut flavor would pair perfectly and kids love cake. I made it fresh a couple hours before we left. I made the frosting and topped it right before we went out the door. The cake was only ok. The flavors weren’t very strong and the coconut seemed lost. The coconut was super dehydrated and more of a powder/dust than actual flakes. The frosting was missing something as well, maybe a more bold flavor? It was okay the day of the party and we all had a slice. The next day even thought it was kept in air tight container it was super dry. The cake was only okay and I don’t think we will be buying it again.

Cant stop eating it
Anyone saying this cake isn’t the best boxed cake they’ve ever had is lying to you. It tastes like a lime jello cake my grandma used to make. Struggling not to eat the whole cake by myself.

The directions were easy to follow and I did end up toasting the coconut too! The presentation was beautiful. The cake tasted moist and decadent. I highly reccomend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These come freshly sealed in the box. I made sure it is within the expiration date. All of the different items are packaged separately. Unfortunately I did not have enough eggs on hand to make it yet, but I am excited to try it out. I do not plan on using the coconut though as that does not sound appealing with that lime. My plan is to make it into cupcakes as we do not eat many sweets. I will be able to give the extras away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is Cravings Heavenly coconut key lime cake mix. This cake mix was very easy to make. It only takes about 15 minutes from opening the box to putting it in the oven. Like most cake mixes you had to add your own eggs and oil. The directions are easy to follow and the cake was good, it was light, moist and not at all too sweet. You can taste the coconut and lime flavors, which lime flavored anything is my favorite treat. I did add a bit of lime juice to the glaze but that was not necessary I just wanted some extra lime flavor.

A simple yet unique dessert

You can easily whip this up in under an hour. It is delicious, moist, and a unique dessert if you’re looking for something different to bring to a party. I did feel like the frosting was just OK and could’ve been better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a coconut key lime cake kit, containing the cake mix and a glaze. The overall taste and flavor was mostly coconut more than key lime. The glaze was easy to make and you had the option of mixing with milk or water, we chose milk and it was delicious. This cake was very easy to follow directions and make a simple cake. The glaze was a little thin but overall loved the dessert.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this coconut key lime cake mix. It was super easy to make. It came with everything you need except a couple of eggs, oil, and water. The directions were very easy to follow. I used all of my coconut in the cake mix but next time I think I’ll save some for the frosting. It yielded 12 cupcakes. They are delicious!

It really is more a soft, moist, coconut cake with an essence of key lime. The cake was easy to make and cooked up very easy, you just will need to make sure you like coconut so that you’ll appreciate this cake.

The star of the show is definitely the cake itself-it baked up nicely and had a really lovely, bright lime flavor that didn't taste overly artificial. However, the kit was just okay for - me overall because the included glaze was a bit underwhelming and didn't quite live up to the standard of the cake. That being said, it's still a very convenient baking mix, and with a few minor tweaks of your own, it makes for a tasty and summery treat!

I appreciate that there were no GMO‘s. The frosting was really good and I like that they had tips on the back of the box for variations. It made a great easy treat that taste as good as homemade.

There are variety different ways. You could make this, and I chose to make it in a loaf. It was very moist and the frosting drizzle was delicious on top of it. It could be an excellent brunch option or a dessert.

Fun! I love key lime flavor and this has plenty of flavor. I would leave out the coconut next time because of the texture. I would also like my loaf pan with parchment paper because due to the high sugar content, it did burn the edges and I watched it so carefully. 45 min the toothpick was wet+edges okay, 50 min: toothpick came out clean but edges burnt
