Not sure why these are getting some bad reviews, I just got them for my 4 & 8 year old nieces and I think they are going to love them if I ever stop doodling on them long enough to share. If you decide to get one, Target seems have the best. For very easy cleaning the marker for a new drawing I've used damp Expo dry erasers, wet naps, baby wipes or just damp tissue.. I dunno, whatever the cool kids are into these days, Don't forget 3 AA batteries and wherever your tiny Phillip's elusive screwdriver kit that is in hiding, it uses the tiny ones so you'll probably need this. If you or your kid want to write their name or a cute message, the reflection on the wall does turn out backwards. We might stick to drawing cute stars and hearts for awhile. AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS MAGICAL.. grab a pack of washable rainbow crayola whiteboard markers. This toy only comes with 3 mini washables. It's like watching all of the magic drain from your cherub's precious face when you drag them to Outback Steakhouse where they are are given a super happy colorful kangaroo activity menu book and a box of 3 lame crayons that can't even be shared with siblings because every box has red, yellow, and green. Perhaps blue, I forgot, Really, do you want to eat a blue Kangaroo? A yellow and green spotted Wallaby? I like the food but I don't color and I'm an adult and honestly could bring my own crayons but I have enough junk in my purse. Anyway, point being, I recommend this light up toy from Crayola. I have one for an 8 year old and one for a 4 year old, will be great for winding down at night, giving the tablets a break and showing off their creativity. Amazing to see the artistic progression of children and watch them learn to spell out their names and other words. Oh, and of course, one day learning to write a very colorful, strongly worded, and perhaps even illuminated letter to the CEO of Outback Steakhouse. Also, in case you are wondering, I really would recommend this to a friend. The only reason I subtracted starts for value is that I felt like it could have included more than 3 miniature markers. Crayola does make a really pretty washable full size set that works on this projector, though. ;) Also trying to find some supplies to clean it without scratching it up, the wipes work great, the super soft Expo white board erasers when damp are great. Fun project for anyone crafty!
