Creativity for Kids Beaded Snowflake Ornaments

This set makes absolutely stunning snowflake ornaments, but the stoppers and provided glue will absolutely not stop these beads from falling off constantly especially when tying the ribbon on. Hot glue had to be globbed on. With modifications this worked.

Read reviews, thought this was a good craft for kids to give to teachers. Opened box to find 2 snowflakes welds broke. As we worked on a shown designs to find out wires were to short for amount of beads shown. OK, put less beads on! But dishearted with the 2 broken snowflakes but didn't have enough beads to do them anyways. Had 5 noodle beads and 1 pinwheels,7 large smoked and a few assort small beads left. Not enough beads in general to fill another snowflake!! Kit was on the high end of the scale for price and expected much better product. Also reviews said it came with a large tray for beads. Only received a 4x6 container to put beads in and than find and fish out. Will pass on this brand when looking for craft kits for sure!!!

Makes great gifts! Easy for kids (6+) to assemble with minimal assistance. To secure end caps, we ended up using brush-on super glue instead of the glue they provided.

Such a fun holiday craft to do with my 4 year old daughter! She is enjoying giving these ornaments out as special gifts for family and friends.

We put crazy glue on instead of the glue provided. Seemed to work better. The ribbon is a bear to put on, I wish there was a better method for making them into ornaments. Lots of extra bead for a possible extra project. A good activity to give kids the opportunity to give something nice handmade for Christmas. Also, a great motor skills activity.

We received 7 wire forms, and we had more than enough beads to fill all the forms. The beads came in a molded plastic tray with a lid that fit each cavity, keeping the beads secure when not in use. You can be creative in your designs, or you can follow the patterns on the box. The only con with the kit was the included glue - it didn't adhere. The silicone end caps hold enough to finish the design, but they're not enough for a completed ornament. I plan to complete these by hot gluing the end caps.

This is an excellent craft box for all ages. Because the quality is good, the finished product, even by the youngest creators, is lovely and an asset to Christmas decorations anywhere throughout your house.

I think the 8+ age recommendation for this craft kit is spot on. My almost 6-year-old had a blast making them but definitely needed quite a bit of help. Even so, the ornaments he made were great and I had several people ask about the kit after posting pictures online of him making them. There's a nice variety of beads and I love that envelopes are included for gifting. My only minor complaints would be that the end caps have come off a few which of course means the beads come off as well. The glue included in the set is quite thick and hard to dispense and I'm wondering if the caps are coming off because we aren't using enough glue. While the ornaments look great after already repairing a few I'm not sure how they will hold up long term. I'll be looking for a better alternative to keep on the caps. These are the best snowflake arts and craft kits out there. No glue and no mess! You start off with a wire shaped snowflake and add beads and jewels to make it look realistic! It’s so fun and easy. My daughter and I did these one night and used them to give as gifts and to use as ornaments on out Christmas tree! My daughters is 6 and had no problem putting the beads on the wire!
