As a family we've used P&G Crest Pro-Health for about six years. It's all we've been buying. However over the past year to year and a half the thickness and consistency of the 'paste' has become more of a goo that easily drips and oozes very easily out of an open tube leaving a blue mess on the sink counter unless you carefully re-seal (holding the tube up so it can't drain out) the tube with the cap. In other words, it is NOT a tooth-paste anymore but instead more of a tooth-goo. We at first thought it was a bad batch but now on our 4th tube since actually making note of the issue we realize this is by P&G design. Once we run out we will be changing to another product. This stuff is just messy and slimy and has lost its appeal to us.

This certainly isn't what we'd expect from our toothpaste, and are glad you brought this to our attention. Could you please give us a call at (800) 492-7378? We'd like to gather a few more details in order to find the best solution.
The batch from which I selected this product brought contents that resembled the most efficient portion of the largest container of this same product, which is best described on the packaging, and its effects through the marketing of the manufacturers and distributors. Great product! Very satisfied! I use every last milligram. Completely understand the other reviews with first hand knowledge of similar experiences, even when hand picked at random.
The new style cap for this product is terrible. It is difficult to open and close. It eventually breaks off -third tube with broken cap. Messy and inconvenient.

We're sorry to hear you don't like the cap to your toothpaste. Certainly we know how disappointing your experience must have been. When you have a moment to chat, please give us a call at (800) 492-7378 so we can help you further.
Never can tell what's in the box and upsetting if it's an upright tube! Hard to empty it out. Falls over! And it turns to a sticky blobby mess at the hole where its suppose to come out!! Use to try and adjust to the new style tube but I HATE it. Please stop making it!!!

That definitely sounds like a frustrating experience, and we're sorry to hear this. If you prefer the screw on cap, we recommend the Pro-Health Advanced or Crest Complete lines. We'd like to help you further, please give us a call at (800) 492-7378.
More so recently, every time I go shop for toothpaste it turns into a hassle and I cannot tell what I am buying until I use it. I recently bought the "Smooth Formula" ProHealth whitening power offering. It sounded like it could be a good thing but turned out to not be what I wanted. I prefer an actual toothPASTE. That means white, no flavor paste. It can be whitening or tarter control but nothing else. Now what I bought does work no doubt about that, my mouth feels cleaner after using it but I dislike the taste and the fact it is a gel. It does not say anywhere on the box it is a gel or has a mint flavor. If it did, I would not have bought it. Just thought you might want to know.
