A: You cannot select the warm function directly, the warm function will come on once the cook time is finished. If your using just to keep food warm this won't work and you would need a manual crockpot.

A: Hi Audchill. The lid should not be locked while you are cooking. Locking the lid while cooking will maintain the steam pressure which can affect the slow cooker’s performance.
