Q: does this come with a 45 adapter? can you play 45s with this phonograph or do you need to buy something else?

Lasted a little more than a year before it stopped working. Don’t buy this turntable, invest in a better quality one.

Bought this as a Father's Day gift from Target, purchased it the day before Father's Day. It stopped working mid-August, and I'm simply delighted to find out the return window for this item is shorter than it is for literally a head of lettuce.

Only giving one star because 0 was not an option. Bought this two weeks ago and it only scratches the records and does not play. It spins records lopsided and the sound is absolutely horrible. Spend the extra $$ and get one that actually works.

I bought this turntable because it's cute and I'd heard good things. Unfortunately it stopped working after about 2 weeks. It was playing side a just fine, but when I flipped the record over, the arm just sped right to the center and wouldn't play. Now it won't play anything. Don't buy this if you want to listen to records for more than a week or two. Also, if you do buy this, keep the box and receipt so you can return it.

Love this portable record player! Looking for something easy and lightweight to play your records? This fits the bill! I brought it to my parents’ house to play some records for Father’s Day and he loved it! Would recommend as long as you’re not an elitist audiophile. Haha.

The record player started smoking so I unscrewed it to see underneath. When I turned it on to see the problem, a piece on the circuit board literally had a small little dot of fire. The smoke was going everywhere.

They are supposed to go out before any danger of fire would happen. We have a one year warranty on all our turntables. I bought it for my best friend and when we played it, the audio sounded a tiny bit weird but then just ignored it but after only a couple weeks the record payer started playing songs in a different pitch and I hated it. we didn’t do anything to the pitch knob so this is just from the player. Just a get a victrola or audio technica!

I read all those reviews and just ordered this for Valentine’s Day gift. If it’s not working I can return early to Target. But, this is working surprisingly well. My boys and my husband were so happy to listen to the music from vinyl album.
